Natalie pulled up the Griffith Group''s new collection for him to see. "Jerome, look
at what you''ve done! You destroyed my original sketches. Now, even though I know they stole my work, I have no proof. I just have to watch them profit from my designs."
"I''ve already cut ties with your family. Why do you all keeping after me? You even stoop to stealing my work. The Scott family... you''re not human. You''re all monsters."
Tears streamed down her face. She was heartbroken. How could she have been born into such a family? To be reborn, only toe from that woman''s womb again...
Seeing her cry, Jerome felt a pang of guilt. "Natalie, no matter what you say, I didn''t do it."
Luna''s voice was sharp with anger. "We have video evidence, and you still have the nerve to deny it? Boss, let''s call the police."
Natalie nodded. "Okay."
"Natalie, you can''t frame me like this!" Jerome panicked. "I have a raceing up, and I have to win. I''m telling you, I didn''t do it!"
"Then exin this," Natalie said, pointing to the video of him taking the pictures. "Who did you send them to?"
Jerome knew she would never believe him. "I told you, I didn''t send them to anyone. I don''t know who deleted the photos from my phone."
"Save it. You''re just as rotten as your despicable father," Natalie spat. Just wait. I''l send you to hell myself. The race was only a few days away. She could afford to wait. Jerome, that shameless, rotten bastard, would not have a happy ending.
At the mention of his father, Jerome''s anger red. "Speaking of which, did you frame my dadst night?"
"Do you have proof?" Natalie shot back. "If I had, do you think I''d be standing here? Your family would have had me thrown in jail by now. Has Joanna filled your head with so much crap that you can''t think for yourself?"
"Natalie, you..."
"Let''s call the police," Luna interrupted.
Jerome grew even more anxious. He couldn''t be arrested now.
But Natalie stopped Luna from dialing. She let out a coldugh. "No, don''t bother. Let karma do its work If he''s out and about, Larry will find him and get his revenge. A spineless Tar like him deserves to be dealt with by someone like that."
Jerome''s lips trembled. "That incident was your fault..."
"You instigated it. I was the victim. And you me me? Jerome, you are truly shameless."
Luna was furious. "Are we just going to let this go?"
Natalie took a deep breath and wiped away her tears. She looked at Jerome with an eerie smile. "Of course not. Let him have his little race. After it''s over, we''ll turn the evidence over to the police."
“Natalie, don''t frame me!" Jerome pleaded. "I swear I didn''t give your designs to anyone!"
Natalie didn''t even spare him a nce as she turned and walked away with Luna.
Jerome stood there, fuming, his
hands on his hips as he watched her
leave. A sense of unease settled
over him. Was Natalie really plotting against him now? And who the hell had deleted those photos from his phone?
