Chapter 61

Sean shook his head. "Sir, I haven''t been able to find out where Ms. Sanders is living."

Sebastian frowned. How could that be? The city was big, but there couldn''t be that many people named Natalie Sanders. "Why are you calling her Ms. Sanders? Why not Mrs. Griffith?"

Sean was confused. He was only following orders. "Sir, you''re the one who told us not to call her that. We sometimes still did, in private. A few days ago, I saw her post on social media. She said that making yourself small and losing yourself for someone you love is the stupidest thing you can do. Then today, she posted again. She said she has finally, pletely fallen in love with herself, and that loving herself is so much happier than loving anyone else."

Sebastian''s grip on his phone tightened. He realized he had never seen Natalie''s social media posts. She had blocked him.

A fresh wave of anger surged through him. "You two are friends on social media?" His voice was low and dangerous.

Sean felt a chill run down his spine, but he nodded bravely. "Yes. Ms. Sanders would sometimes ask me what time you wereing home so she could prepare dinner or ate-night snack for you. But she never bothered me, just checked on your schedule."

In his eyes, Natalie was a truly good person, a good wife. She was only ever timid and cautious around the boss. In her daily life, she was vibrant confident, and full of life. "Honestly, sir, Ms. Sanders was really good to you. Im not trying to speak ill of Ms. Scott, but she never did anything for you. She never cooked for you; you two always ate out. Ms. Sanders, on the other hand, spent every day carefully looking after you. All Ms. Scott ever wanted was for you to take her to fancy restaurants so she could show off on her social media feed. The difference is..."

"Enough. I don''t want to hear it," Sebastian growled. Now that Natalie was gone, all the things she used to do were suddenly magnified in his mind. "Natalie is malicious, she''s nothingpared to Joanna."

Joanna... a voice in Sean''s head jeered. You really think you''re all that? To Ms. Sanders, you''re cheap andmon now. Joanna is kind and gentle? Sir, you''re blind. He desperately wanted to shout to the world: Sebastian, stay away from me, you reek of scumbag!

"Heh..." Sean couldn''t help himself. "Sir, if you think Ms. Scott is so wonderful, then maybe you should stop this half-hearted search. Haven''t you heard the saying? After the divorce, my world is none of your business, and you''re only allowed to be a spectator i mine. You were the one who pushed for the divorce, sir. Now that she''s gone, you''re the one who can''t let go. You can''t be that much of a jerk."

Natalie had helped him out many times, so of course, he was on her side. Sebastian had the head of a pig on his handsome shoulders, and it was toote for it to develop now. Sean sighed inwardly. He knew that no matter what he said Sebastian wouldn''t listen. The beauty of some rtionshipsy in their uncertainty. If you knew the oue from the beginning, love would lose its magic. Joanna and Sebastian were a perfect example of that. When Joanna wanted something, she clung to it. Sebastian, unsure of his own heart, got married and still couldn''t untangle himself from another woman.
