Chapter 721

They never expected the news toe to them so easily. It was like searching high and low for something, only to have it appear right in front of you.

"So, yesterday, the three elders of the Rosenberg family called a short meeting at the old estate to discuss Lionel''s future with the family. But they started arguing before the meeting even began."

Hannah shot Cherry a knowing look.

Cherry didn''t keep her in suspense. "When Lionel arrived at the estate yesterday, he didn''t greet the elders. He just walked in arrogantly and sat down."

"The elders thought he was incredibly rude for not greeting them, so they demanded he go back outside and enter again with a proper greeting. Of course, someone as proud and arrogant as Lionel refused."

"So they got into a little argument over it, and in the end, Lionel was forced to go out ande back in to greet them."

As Cherry recounted the story, she couldn''t stop herself from bursting intoughter, pping her thigh to keep from being too loud. She continued.

"And that''s not all! After he greeted them, he went right back to his usual arrogant self. He even told the elders that all this was just empty, meaningless ceremony."

"He said they were there to decide if he could stay in the Rosenberg family, so there was no need for such pointless formalities and they should just get to the point. The elders felt he was being disrespectful and told him to fix his attitude."

"But he used them of using their status to throw their weight around and pressure him, so he refused to back down, and it turned into a huge fight."

"In the end, the meeting that was supposed to decide his fate was over before it even started. Everyone just left in a huff. I have a feeling that after this, Lionel is really going to be

    for good."

After hearing Cherry''s story, Hannah finally understood why she and Samuel were so amused.

She would have beenughing too, but beyond the amusement, she suddenly realized something was very wrong.

Samuel noticed Hannah''s expression turn serious, a stark contrast to her earlier cheerfulness. "Hannah, is something wrong with this story?"

"From what I know of my grandmother''s household—the main estate—the staff there are incredibly discreet. Especially with the elders present."

Hannah voiced her doubts. "Something this important, this sensitive they would have certainly dismissed the servants. There''s no way they would have let them stand there and listen, let alone leak the story. This is a huge embarrassment for the Rosenberg family

She remembered meeting a few of the elders when she married into the family. They were all fierce and imposing.

It wasn''t just the servants; even other members of the Rosenberg family were deeply respectful of them. No one would ever dare gossip about the elders.

That''s why today''s news felt so strange, Logically, unless one of the elders or Lionel himself had spread

the story, no servant would eve dare speak of it.

"Did you hear if anyone else attended the meeting besides the elders and Lionel?"

A seed of suspicion began to grow in Hannah''s mind.
