Upon hearing his question, Cherry remained silent for a long moment before finally asking.


    "What are you talking about? Hannah went to Quennel''s house? So what? What does that have to do with me? You think I told her to go? Can you please be a little clearer?"


    "I went to see Quennel today to ask about something, and Hannah was there, hiding. She deliberately showed up only after I was done talking. No one knew I was going to Quennel''s, so why did she happen to be there?"


    If Cherry hadn''t tipped her off, why would Hannah have been there at that exact time? She could have gone earlier orter, but her timing was incredibly suspicious.


    "Lionel, are youpletely insane and off your meds? Did you escape from a mental hospital? If so, please do us all a favor and check yourself back in, okay?"


    As Cherry spoke, she gave Hannah a look of pity. She truly couldn''t fathom what went on inside that man''s head.


    She continued in a patronizing tone, "You just said yourself that nobody knew you were going to see Quennel. So, tell me, how would I have known? Did I nt a bug in your room? Or maybe I installed some kind of mind-reading device in your brain?"


    "Or maybe I''ve been following you ever since I left the hospital? You have to give me an exnation today, or this partnership is over. I refuse to work with a lunatic. It''s exhausting and painful, you know?"


    He had admitted that his visit was a secret, so how could she possibly have known about it?


    After Cherry''s tirade, Lionel fell silent on the other end of the line.


    He seemed to be mulling over her words.


    When he didn''t respond, Cherry scoffed. "What, nothing to say? Talk to me. You were so talkative before Youn Speak up! Weren''t you so good at yelling Go on yell. Tell me how could have possibly known Answer me, do you hear?"


    "Don''t just stay silent. Don''t give me that nonsense about me telling Hannah to go the moment you left. Go check your hospital room right now. See if I nted any surveince devices. Go on!"


    Cherry refused to back down, relentlessly attacking him with a barrage of usations.


    Since he hade looking for a fight, she wasn''t about to let him off easy.


    "Lionel, are you really that stupid? Do you ever think before you speak or act? I''m telling you, if you don''t apologize to me today, I will not let this go."


    "No apology, no partnership. I''ll tell Hannah everything immediately, and we''ll see how she deals with you. You''re just a petty, vindictive idiot. I''ve never met anyone so pathetic and stupid in my life."
