"Well, when I was in college, there was this guy pursuing my roommate. Everyone knew about it. Then one day, he called me and another friend downstairs alone."
Hannah recalled an incident from her school days.
"We thought he was too shy to give our roommate a gift and wanted us to deliver it for him. But to our surprise, he told us he really liked our roommate and wanted to be with her, and he hoped we would agree on her behalf."
Samuel: "??"
Samuel pinched his own cheek. He must still be dreaming. How else could he be hearing so many unbelievable things today?
"He was into your roommate but was too shy to confess, so he asked you to ept his confession on her behalf, and if you agreed, he would consider himself dating your roommate. Is that what you mean?"
It took Samuel a long time to process what Hannah had just said.
"Yes, that''s right. We were shocked too. We told him that if he liked her, he had to confess himself. He said he was too shy and afraid of rejection, so it would be fine if we just agreed for her."
"In that moment, we were stunned - how could an adult do something so baffling? No sane person would ever say something like that."
Hannah thought about it now and realized that she had been surrounded by crazy people all along, she just hadn''t noticed it before.
After hearing all this, Samuel couldn''t help but raise his hands and apud Hannah.
"Hannah, if you hadn''t told me these things, I never would have known there were so many weirdos in the world, not just one."
Hannah chuckled and gestured for him to calm down.
"Actually, there''s an even funnier story. Another one of my roommates broke up with her- ex-boyfriend and wanted him to forgive her so she gathered fother."
"There were six of us in the room. She said if all six of us knelt down to her ex- boyfriend, he would surely be moved and forgive her."
Samuel: "??"
"You don''t have to be shocked or find it unbelievable, and you don''t have to suspect I''m lying to you, because it''s all true."
"I''m only just realizing now that not only were my college roommates messed up, but Lionel is too. So many strange things happened in the dom back then that I stopped living there and moved out. I feel like my whole life has been a chaotic journey, meeting so many lunatics."
Hannah sighed deeply as she drove, feeling sentimental.
She used to think her roommate was just a lovesick fool, which was why she''d say
such things, but she never expected Lionel to be the same.
A crazy person is a crazy person. It has nothing to do with being lovesick.
She had been lovesick before, but she''d never done anything so insane!
"It''s okay, Hannah. After meeting all these crazy people, everyone else you meet will seem normal. Look at least I''m formal, and our family is normat Well, except for that moron Cherry. I hear that moron ising back in a couple of days."
"What is sheing back for?"
