Chapter 580

The moment she saw Lionel, Hannah thought she was mistaken, so she checked again carefully.

She even took out her phone, zoomed in, and snapped a picture. Finally, she confirmed that the person Samuel was meeting was indeed Lionel.

Hannah had initially wanted to open the car door, walk into the coffee shop, and ask them what they were meeting privately about.

But after some thought, she decided to wait in the car for Samuel toe out.

"So, tell me. What were you two discussing in your private meeting?"

Hannah had made several guesses in the car but could never figure out what the two of them could possibly talk about alone.

The whole thing felt incredibly bizarre-him meeting Samuel in secret.

Though it was most likely about wanting to know things about her, she couldn''t guess the specifics.

Samuel didn''t hide anything. He told her everything, word for word. Hannah drove while listening to Samuel''s ount.

After hearing everything he said, Hannah fell silent. She pulled the car over to the side of the road, afraid her concentration would slip while driving.

"For real? He actually asked you those things? You''re not lying to me, are you?" Hannah fell silent, looking at Samuel in disbelief, feeling like he might be making it up.

Samuel looked at Hannah with an excited and earnest expression, "How could I lie to you, Hannah? That''s exactly what happened. He came right out and started asking me about you. He was so natural about it."

"The way he asked, I thought for a second that I was his mole nted by your side, you know? I was just stunned!"

Thinking back on that moment, it still felt surreal.

Honestly, if he hadn''t experienced it himself, he wouldn''t have believed the man was capable of saying such things.

"He even said that meeting me today was entirely his own idea and not some n orchestrated by Sandra."

"When he said that, I didn''t even want to respond. He was so proud of himself, you know? I don''t get how someone can be so full of themselves."

Samuel felt as if he might be in a dream. Otherwise, how could such a bizarre and chaotic thing happen in real life?

But it was real. This wasn''t a dream.

Hannah didn''t speak. She just crossed her arms, leaned back slightly against the seat, her brow furrowed as she stared ahead in disbelief.

If she had known they were

discussing something so weird, she should have gone in to witness it. Just hearing about it didn''t feel satisfying enough.  fo

"He also asked if you would

reconcile with him if he cut ties with Sandrpletely. It''s so strange He''d think Sandra was the root cause of all your problems and he had nothing to do with it."

Hannah took a deep breath, restarted the car, and began driving home.

"I think if he tries to meet you privately again, you shouldn''t go. I''m genuinely worried that one day he''ll have aplete breakdown and say something like you can forgive him on my behalf, and then we''d be considered reconciled."

"??" Samuel was stunned for a few seconds. "Hannah, what did you just say? I don''t

    think I understood you."
