Chapter 531

Hannah gestured to the staff, signaling for them to escort their guest out.

“Lionel, let me make this clear. I only believe in evidence. Nothing else. If you can produce evidence that proves Quennel kidnapped Sandra, then I''ll believe you. If you can''t, then I can only conclude that you staged this entire drama to ruin my rtionship with Quennel. Show him out."

With that, Hannah turned and left the backyard.

Seeing her walk away, Lionel rushed forward, trying to stop her, but Samuel blocked his path.

He shoved Samuel away with both hands.

“Lionel, was Hannah not clear enough? Or are you deaf? Didn''t you hear what she said? She wants evidence. Do you even know what that is?"

Samuel signaled for the bodyguards to approach.

"Just because you say something doesn''t make it true. Hannah told you so much in the past, even gave you proof, and you still didn''t believe her. Now you show up with nothing but usations, trying to nder someone else. You''ve got some nerve. Go find your evidence. Without it, there''s nothing to talk about. Now get out, before I have the bodyguards throw you out and call the press to film it. You can be a trending topic again!"

    The bodyguards prepared to move.

Three, four, five of them surrounded him, making it clear they would get physical if he didn''t leave immediately.

After all, they didn''t need to be polite with someone like Lionel.

Seeing this, Sandra was suddenly reminded of all the sensational headlines he''d been showing her. They really were capable of this kind of public humiliation. She had already suffered enough

embarrassment; she couldn''t afford any more.

Gritting her teeth against the pain, she slowly made her way toward the door.

    Samuel watched her pathetic state

andughed. "Lionel, you should learn a thing or two from your mistress. See how well she takes à hint? When she''s told to leave, she

leaves. Not like you Get going before you embarrass yourself further."

Samuel looked down on him, a contemptuous sneer on his face. "I heard you''ve been dismissed from the Rosenberg family business. If you keep causing trouble and affect thepany''s stock, I imagine the family might just disown you entirely."

"Then you''ll have nothing, just like before. At least back then, you had Hannah. Be smart and get out."

With that, Samuel gave him a hard shove.

Lionel lost his footing, stumbled back a few steps, and fell heavily to the ground. He sat there, stunned, watching Hannah''s figure disappear from sight.

"You should just go. Hannah won''t believe a word you say. The more you push, the more she''ll despise you."

Sandra had taken a few steps but turned back when she saw him still sitting foolishly on the floor, offering a word of advice.

Her words ignited a fire in Lionel. He shot up, strode over to her in a fury, and grabbed her by the throat.

"Tell me why you didn''t tell the truth. You promised you would tell her everything. I''ve treated you well. Why would you betray me?"
