“You know the inside scoop?” Yates put down his ss, shifting into a morefortable position, his interest piqued.
"A little." Ynda nced around, making sure no cameras were on, then leaned closer to Yates and whispered, "She even snuck onto the set yesterday, trying to see Director Miranda."
"Did she get to see her?" Yates asked, squinting, listening intently.
"Of course not," Ynda said with a shrug and a derisiveugh. "Her brother is Jimmie. Jimmie''s best friends with Miranda''s son. If he wanted to pull some strings to get her a spot, it would just take a word from him. So, either Jimmie doesn''t like his sister enough to ask for a favor, or he already asked Miranda, and she said no."
Either way, Ynda concluded with an air of certainty, there was no way Juniper wasing on the show.
"Is that so?" Yates stroked his chin, thinking back to the news of Jimmie officially finding his sister. The coverage had been overwhelming, with the topic trending in the top ten for two whole months. Jimmie had spent a fortune going after unscrupulous reporters and paparazzi to protect his sister. Thewsuits were still ongoing. Jimmie usually stayed out of public drama, focusing only on his work. To go to such lengths for his sister... could he really not care for her?
"Let''s just get some sleep," Yates said, pulling a corner of his mouth into a wry smile as he stood up. "We''ll find out who the guest is tomorrow."
"Yeah." After watching Yates leave, Ynda pulled out her phone and contacted her makeup artist. “Be here at five to do my makeup.”
The show started filming at eight. To ensure she looked her absolute best on camera, she''d hired a top-tier professional at a premium. It would take several hours to achieve that perfect, exquisite look.
The next day, the first rays of morning sun streamed through the ss window and soft white curtains, casting a golden glow across therge bed. A potted nt on the table swayed its leaves gently. The figure on the bed furrowed a perfect brow in annoyance as the light hit her eyes.
*Bzz Bzz-*
As Juniper hovered in a state between sleep and wakefulness, the phone beside her pillow vibrated. It was a text from Jimmie: `Juniper, cameras are live in one minute.`
Juniper nced at the message, tossed her phone aside, and plopped back down, intending to go right back to sleep.
At that moment, the third episode of "Hey, Sis!" officially began streaming. Thanks to yesterday''s teaser about a surprise A-list guest, viewers were eager to find out just how big this star, who the production team had guarded so secretly, really was. As a result, the show''s ratings skyrocketed the
moment it went live.
The first to appear were siblings Ken and Willow. Ken was just back from
eat a run, while Willow was
eating breakfast a bowl of soup loaded with hot sauce Content"
"Didn''t you say your throat was sore? You should probably avoid spicy food," Ken advised.
"Can I have a milkshake?" Willow asked.
Ken paused for a second. "A little bit, I guess."
"Just a little? Okay. Then can I have a frap?"
Ken stopped washing his hands, cocking his head in confusion. “Is Frap a
person? Does he have a sore throat too?"
Willow was speechless. The audience watching erupted withughter.
`LMAO, Willow is a savage.
`Ken is seriously from my dad''s generation. He doesn''t even know what a frap is.`
`No wonder Ken always gets cast in those serious period dramas, hahaha.`
Next up were siblings Jasper and Jiana. Jasper was already up and handling work, looking sharp and energetic, Jiana, on the other hand, opened the curtains, hissed as the sunlight hit her, and promptly fell
back onto the bed.
The show''s caption appeared on screen: `[Under attack by the sun. Must sleep
more to recover.]`
