Chapter 799

Juniper remained silent, observing everything carefully. As they walked, her guide suddenly stopped and said respectfully, "Nocturne, please wait a moment."

Juniper sat in the living room, looking around with a bored expression until her eyesnded on a te of desserts on the table. Candies, cookies-all her favorites.

Just as she was about to reach for one, she heard distinct footsteps approaching from behind the door. It had to be Warren.

"Master Nocturne?" Warren strode into the hall, his deep gaze locking onto Juniper. His initial look of pleasant surprise shifted to astonishment, then his expression grew grave.

He never imagined that the famous physician would be nothing more than a young kid. With the leader of Sigma Network as a recent precedent, Warren didn''t dare let his guard down.

"Don''t I look the part?" Juniper asked, pulling her gaze back and arching an eyebrow as she coolly studied the man.

"You don''t," Warren answered bluntly, though he quickly adopted a more humble posture. "I''m a suspicious man by nature. Please forgive me."

"You suffer from insomnia," Juniper stated, sitting back in her chair and crossing her legs, her eyes filled with a casual indifference. "Even when you manage to sleep, you wake up in the middle of the night. You''ve likely been sick recently, with a slight cough and some congestion."

"Anyone could find that out with a little digging," Warren interrupted coldly.

"Fine. Let''s talk about something no one else knows," Juniper said, uncrossing her legs. She walked over to Warren and said softly, "You''re having a little trouble urinating, aren''t you, Warren?"

Hearing this, Warren''sposed demeanor shattered. His face changed instantly. He nced around nervously before his eyes shot back to Juniper, a flicker of panic in them. "What did you say?"

"Yourplexion is off," Juniper said with a smirk. "It''s not a major issue, probably rted to stress andck of sleep. Or perhaps you''ve been through some kind of shock. bet you haven''t seen a doctor about it, have you?"

Warren was speechless. The guy had hit the nail on the head. It was a minor problem, but one he''d never bothered to see a doctor about. Besides, how could news of such a personal failment have spread across the ind? He had never told a soul; there was no way this "boy" could know.

"Follow this prescription, and I guarantee you''ll be cured in fourteen days," Juniper

said, scribbling on a piece of paper and handing it to him.

Warren''s face flushed with embarrassment. "Thank you."

He turned to his subordinate. "Take this."

"Too soon for thanks," Juniper said, pulling the prescription back with a sly grin.

"Two million. Cash first, then the prescription."

    "What?" Warren''s brows knitted together.

"My prescription will cure you in fourteen days," Juniper said, her

    eyebrows dancing with a

    mischievous glint. "Any other

    dostor,

    would take at least two

    years."

"You''d better be right," Warren said after a pause, signaling for the transfer to be made. "Or you know the consequences."

Once the money was in her ount, Juniper wasted no more time. "Where''s the patient?"

"Bring her over," Warren ordered, his voice firm. "It''s chilly, so bring her a shawl."

Juniper nced at him. Tsk, he really doted on his wife. A momentter, a voice called from behind the door. "My Lord, the Madam is here."
