Chapter 1136

    ?Chapter 1136:

Tinsley greeted him with a gentle smile and tousled his hair before scanning the room. Her gaze settled on Elena, who stood by the king’s bedside. Without missing a moment, Dewayne rushed forward. “Your Highness, what brings you here? The Healer is still on the way, and this woman—who has no training—thinks she can cure His Majesty. I was just about to have her escorted out—”

Before Dewayne could finish, Tinsley interrupted with a raised hand and approached Elena, offering a respectful greeting. “Healer, your arrival brings relief.”

Instantly, the room sank into heavy silence. Confusion swept through everyone present. Had they really heard Tinsley refer to Elena as the Healer?

Disbelief shed in Dewayne’s eyes as he stammered, “Y-Your Highness, surely there’s some mistake. That woman isn’t the Healer—”

A sharp, icy stare from Tinsley cut him off. “I’m perfectly aware of who she is. There’s no need for you to tell me.”

Not another word left Dewayne’s mouth. Tinsley had been the one who reached out to the Healer. If anyone would know the truth, it would be her.

Shock rooted Dewayne to the spot. His arrogance had driven him to threaten—and nearly imprison—the one person who might actually save the king. An unwee chill crept up his spine as the reality of his error settled in.

Breaking the tension, Katy jabbed her finger at Elena and shouted at Tinsley, “You’re being deceived, Your Highness! That woman isn’t the Healer. All she’s done is stick needles into His Majesty. She doesn’t even have the first clue about real medicine!”

With undisguised contempt, Tinsley fixed her gaze on Katy. “Everyone knows the Healer is famous for her needle treatments. Her skills have pulled countless people back from death’s edge.”

Tinsley’s words hit like a lightning bolt. Of course—the Healer was known for curing people with her miraculous technique, and Elena had used that very method. Earlier, they had let Katy’s words cloud their judgment, failing to see what had been clear from the start.

The staff from Gleyross Hospital turned to Katy with thinly veiled me. If not for her baseless usations, none of them would have dared to treat the Healer so disrespectfully.

Motionless, Katy gasped. All color drained from her face as she struggled to process what had just happened.

Tinsley’s eyes sparkled with hope as she gazed at Elena. “You wrote in your letter that my father’s illness can actually be cured. Was that true?”

Months of waiting had finally brought Tinsley to this moment. The Healer stood before her, ready to treat the King of Yoswye.

“That’s correct,” Elena replied, calmly studying everyone gathered. “His blood is dangerously contaminated. We’ll need to rece all of it.”

Tinsley didn’t hesitate. “I’ll have the blood bank get everything ready immediately.”

“That won’t work,” Elena cut in. “Only a close rtive’s blood will be safe enough to preventplications after the procedure.”

Determined, Tinsley insisted, “Use mine, then.”

Witnessing Tinsley’s unwavering confidence in Elena, Dewayne’s face fell into shadow with displeasure, and he issued a caution to Tinsley. “Your Royal Highness, please reconsider. You’re responsible for the entire nation. If something goes wrong, the consequences could destabilize everything.” Respect for the Healer existed in Dewayne’s mind, so long as she remained an enigmatic presence, far from the country’s political struggles. If she lost that aura and started getting involved in Yoswye’s politics, he would have to rethink his stance.

Dewayne had hoped to win Tinsley’s favor, but her response surprised him. “I won’t gamble with my father’s life. Anyone who can’t ept my choice is free to leave their post.”
