Chapter 1131

    ?Chapter 1131:

Turning to the butler, Dewayne asked, “Has there been any sign of the Healer?”

The butler’s reply dripped with sycophancy. “Mr. Nguyen, I’ve stationed myself at the entrance all morning. The Healer hasn’t shown. Rest assured, the moment she arrives, I’ll escort her to you personally.”

A furrow appeared on Dewayne’s brow. “It’s nearly noon, but the Healer promised to arrive this morning. Could there be trouble?”

With practiced calm, the butler replied, “The Healer’s movements are shrouded in secrecy. I doubt any trouble hase her way.”

Patience wore thin as Dewayne waited through the long morning hours, his frustration mounting.

At that moment, the doors burst open and a doctor from Gleyross Hospital hurried in, breathless. “Mr. Nguyen, something’s happened to Dr. Brown!”

Dewayne fixed the male doctor with a stern look. “Calm yourself. We’re in the pcepose your thoughts and speak clearly. What’s happened with Katy?”

It took a moment for the male doctor to catch his breath. “I just passed Dr. Brown. She was kneeling by the side of the road.”

“What?” Dewayne’s frown deepened. “Kneeling? What on earth is she doing out there?”

Katy wasn’t just any doctor—she was Dewayne’s student, the one he valued most.

After a few seconds of hesitation, the male doctor finally continued, “Word is, Dr. Brown lost a bet and was forced to confess—right in front of everyone—that she’s a quack.”

“Uneptable!” Dewayne’s voice rose, anger tightening his features. “She represents Gleyross Hospital. This is humiliating! Go fetch her immediately!”

A storm of questions brewed behind his eyes. Who in the world would dare challenge the reputation of Gleyross Hospital so brazenly?

With help from someone nearby, Katy finally rose to her feet and stood upright, her eyes still rimmed with red as she faced her mentor. “Dr. Nguyen, a woman I’ve never seen before was causing trouble earlier,” she remarked, her voice trembling. “I called out herck of professionalism, but she fired back, insulting me and even cursing you and the entire Gleyross Hospital. You have to help me get back at her.”

No one in Yoswye could ignore the reputation of Gleyross Hospital, where only the royal family and the upper crust received care. Such a ce demanded respect, and Dewayne, the director, was not about to let anyone tarnish its name.

    ?????????? ?????????? ?????????????? at ????????ν????????????

A wave of anger washed over Dewayne’s features. “Who dares drag our hospital’s name through the mud?”

Ready to reply, Katy caught sight of the woman leading a boy past the entrance. “There she is!” she blurted, finger stabbing toward the doorway. “Dr. Nguyen, that’s the woman who jabbed needles into my knees and made me kneel on the roadside!”

Instantly, every eye in the room shifted toward the entrance.

All themotion made Elena pause, and she nced up, sensing trouble. Alistair Schneider, the young prince, gave Elena’s hand a little tug. “Why did we stop? My room is just up ahead,” he asked, full of curiosity.

“I just spotted a pest,” Elena replied, her expression unchanged.

Alistair took her words at face value and said, “Pests are annoying. You really should get rid of them if you can.”

They didn’t bother to lower their voices, so their words echoed throughout the hall.

Katy’s temper snapped, and she stamped her foot in frustration, not even noticing how deeply her nails pressed into her palm. Outrage burned in her chest. The nerve of that woman, waltzing in here!
