Chapter 1119

    ?Chapter 1119:

Stepping into the bedroom, Wesley set her down on the bed, carefully turning her so she was lying face down.

Before Elena could curse at him, his hands began working skillfully along her back. The frown faded from her face as she realized he was giving her a massage. Still, why couldn’t he do this in the living room? Why did it have to be on the bed? Elena closed her eyes, soaking in the quietfort of the moment. There was a rhythm to Wesley’s touch that surprised her. It wasn’t just good—it was deeply soothing. She eased into the calm and let him take over without a second thought.

Time slipped away without her noticing. The ease of it all made her limbs heavy, and before long, she hovered on the edge of sleep.

Then Wesley leaned closer. His breath brushed against her ear as he murmured, “Do you like how that feels?”

Drowsy and barely awake, Elena let out a faint, contented “Yeah.”

In the blink of an eye, Wesley turned her over, catching her off guard. Blinking away the haze, she found herself staring straight into his eyes. One look at him snapped her out of her daze, and, without meaning to, her eyes drifted down. It was obvious—he was aroused.

Wesley leaned in, his voice lowered to that rough, tempting pitch she could never resist. “I’m about to fly out. Are you really going to let me leave like this?” Knowing exactly what got to her, he spoke just above a whisper, letting that rich tone curl around her ear.

Heat prickled her cheeks as she rubbed at her ear, feeling her nerves buzz. This man never missed a chance to tempt her.

When she nced down and didn’t answer, Wesley’s lips curved with amusement. He dropped his head and pressed gentle kisses along the line of her neck.

Their clothes vanished, tossed aside, and a sudden spark ignited between them. Once she melted under his touch, he wasted no time thrusting into her. Time seemed to blur and slip away. Elena couldn’t have counted how many times he’d imed her. By the end, she felt utterly spent, her body aching from the intensity.

Wesley slipped on his clothes and leaned over, brushing a soft kiss across her forehead. “When Ie back, I’ll pay your parents a proper visit.”

He kept one thing to himself: after returning from Yoswye, he nned to ask for her hand in marriage.

Annoyed, Elena gave him a yful shove, trying to hide the flush on her face. A deep, warmugh escaped Wesley as he started for the door. “Alright, I’m really leaving this time.”

Once Wesley was gone, Elena pulled herself together and made her way back to the Harper house.

Inside the living room, Louis paced restlessly. As soon as he caught sight of Elena, excitement shed in his eyes. “Elena, is it true you’re going to race Malcolm?”

A small nod confirmed it. “So, you’ve already heard.”

Louis led her over to the sofa, pulling her down beside him. “I just got back from seeing Kiera at her ce and ran into Malcolm there. Ever since he learned how I feel about Kiera, he’s been giving me grief. Listen, Elena, getting into a race with him could spell trouble. You’re my sister, and Malcolm never misses a chance to stir up trouble. He’ll see this as a way to get back at me. Why not just ditch the race? There’s no telling what he’s nning.”

Jeffry, who was still lounging around the house, overheard the conversation. When the topic of the race came up, he weighed in. “Before Malcolm took charge at the Johnson Group, he was obsessed with racing. He evenpeted in international races and came in second. You should know he’s better than most pros.”

Hearing this, Elena quickly put the pieces together. No wonder Malcolm was so confident—he had won a silver medal.

Calm and unruffled, Elena replied, “I already gave my word, and I’m not backing out now. Trust me, Jeffry, Louis. I won’t let you down.”
