Chapter 1117

    ?Chapter 1117:

A glint of amusement lit up Malcolm’s face. “What, scared you’ll lose? Hey, I ride like a pro. No shame in getting beat by me.”

Her lips curled into a subtle smile. “Is that so?”

Malcolm, reading doubt in her tone, continued, “Don’t believe me? Go ask Wesley. Sure, I can’t beat him, but against you? I like my chances.”

Inside the living room, Wesley sat with Felix, both buried in paperwork, the quiet hum of business in the air.

Wesley nced up from his paperwork, his tone dry. “Don’t let him fool you. He wouldn’t even catch a glimpse of your taillights.”

Malcolm barked augh, unable to believe his ears. “Wow, Wesley, just taunting me for a little flirt? I’ve raced in legit tournaments. No way I’d lose to her.” Malcolm shot Wesley a re, silently scolding him for being so whipped that he’d side with Elena instead of his best friend.

Unbothered, Wesley shifted his position, legs crossed, and beckoned Elena closer with a small wave.

She strolled over, only to find herself pulled into his arms without effort. Wesley gazed at Malcolm and remarked, “Honestly, you’re begging for humiliation if you challenge her to a race.”

Malcolm snorted. “Unless you’re on the track too, I think my odds are solid.”

Wesley gave a short, amused chuckle. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you.”

With a nce at Elena, Malcolm tried again. “Well? Are you game?”

One eyebrow quirked upward as Elena replied, “Sure. What’s the prize?”

Malcolm’s eyes flicked to Wesley—finally, a chance to score something from the golden boy. A cocky grin spread across his face. “If you lose, Wesley hands over that limited-edition race bike in his garage.”

Elena didn’t even hesitate. “You’re on.”

Malcolm’s jaw dropped in surprise. “You’re really not even going to check with him first?”

Wesley’s bike wasn’t just any machine—it was his pride and joy, worth a staggering hundred million, and Malcolm himself had never gotten so much as a test ride. Elena betting it so casually? That just didn’t add up. Elena shot Wesley a nce. “You okay with this?”

Wesley answered without missing a beat, “Whatever you decide.”

Rolling his eyes, Malcolm took in their easy chemistry. “Can you two cut out the lovebird act for five minutes? Who would have guessed the’s wealthiest man would turn out to be such a hopeless romantic?”

Elena said, “If you lose, give your support to Louis and Kiera’s rtionship.”

That onended hard. Malcolm’s swagger faltered—she’d gone straight for his sore spot, the one condition he could hardly bear.

Before he could recover, Elena added, “If you’re scared, we can just drop the whole thing.”

A muscle in Malcolm’s jaw twitched. “Fine! I’m in!” No way he would lose to her.

A sh of triumph danced in Elena’s gaze. “Deal. Set the time, and I’ll be there.”

“Tomorrow afternoon,” Malcolm replied, confidence sharpening his tone.

“Works for me,” Elena answered, sealing the agreement with a nod.

With everything settled, Malcolm took his leave, self-assured and already picturing himself at the helm of Wesley’s prized motorcycle. He’d waited years for this opportunity, and now it finally felt within reach. Once Malcolm disappeared, Felix quietly slipped out as well.
