    Experience had taught him all he needed to know. His daughter never appeared at his workce without an agenda.


    Subtlety wasn’t on Ste’s mind today. She got straight to the point. “You have to say yes first. For you, it’s just a tiny favor.”


    A weary sigh escaped Liam. “If it’s something I can manage, you have my word. Does that make you happy?”


    Delight flickered across Ste’s features as her n seemed within reach. “You said it yourself! The Harpers crossed the line—someone from their family hurt my”
