Chapter 1052

    ?Chapter 1052:

Charlette’s mouth twisted into a harsh, bitter smile. So Tucker had been sold by his own father, like livestock. At that instant, her restraint snapped, and she lost her cool. She seized the bottle and shattered it over the man’s head. Blood streamed down his face as he staggered back from the impact, rage taking over. “You crazy bitch! How dare you hit me?”

He lunged forward, but Charlette didn’t flinch. Her fist mmed into his face again and again, leaving him defenseless.

    “Please stop… I made a mistake…” the man pleaded.

But Charlette wasn’t listening anymore. At that moment, all she could see was her own father’s twisted face, every bit as vicious and unforgiving. Blinded by fury, she kept swinging until her hands dripped red and his cries faded into a faint whimper.

Jolie had already purchased a new house and set everything up for Ellis after he mentioned his ns to get married.

After Ellis ended his conversation with Jolie, he set out to find Charlette. He searched every corner of the base, but she was nowhere to be found, and she wasn’t picking up her phone.

Eventually, Ellis made his way to where she lived, but it was Elena who answered the door.

“Ellis, what brings you here at this hour?” Elena asked, surprised.

“I’m looking for Charlette. Is she around?” Ellis replied, his concern clear.

Elena shook her head. “Charlette? She left early this morning and hasn’te back yet.”

A faint crease appeared on Ellis’s brow. Elena immediately picked up on his worry. “Is something wrong?”

A look of concern settled over Ellis’s face. “She’s gone missing.”

“Missing?” Elena echoed, confused. “Hang on, Ellis. Let me see what I can do.”

Ellis didn’t bother to ask what she meant. He trusted his sister’s tech skills to get answers fast.

Elena grabbed her special phone, her fingers flying across the screen. Within moments, she tracked down Charlette’s phone signal. “There. I’ve got her location.”

Without a word, Ellis checked the address and took off, with Elena close behind. They reached Charlette’s location in no time.

As soon as Ellis spotted Charlette, he rushed forward and grabbed her arm. “What the hell happened here?”

Ellis’s eyes widened in disbelief at the chaos in front of him. A many sprawled on the floor, blood pooling beneath his head and trickling from his mouth and nose. His condition was unclear, but the bleeding hadn’t stopped. Elena knelt beside the man, pressed two fingers to his neck, and said, “He’s still breathing.”

Turning to Charlette, Ellis caught a glimpse of something fierce and dangerous in her eyes. He hesitated, taken aback. “Charlette, do you understand what you’ve done? If he dies, you’ll be held responsible. Murder isn’t something you can walk away from.”

Charlette’s tone was ice-cold. “Does it matter?”

Ellis’s concern for Charlette only grew, tension etched across his face. He kept his tone steady but didn’t back down. “Take a breath, Charlette. He’s not worth throwing your life away. Just tell me what happened, and handle it.”

Charlette’s hands began to shake as she looked down, the rage inside her slowly ebbing away. She couldn’t understand why Ellis stayed, even after seeing her like this.

Charlette’s voice was cold, but her pain was clear. “He sold Tucker off. Then they ripped out Tucker’s organs.”
