?Chapter 912:
Several senior doctors—gray-haired and presumably more experienced—stood at a loss on the sidelines, deferring to N, someone much younger.
With calmposure, N addressed the room full of officers and physicians, “Let me check on Deputy Commander Aston first. Please don’t worry.”
Glenn responded immediately, nodding with urgency, “Yes, of course. Go ahead.”
Whipping around to the others crowding the room, Glenn shouted, “Step back! Give Dr. Vance space to work!”
Pressure pressed heavily on Glenn’s shoulders. Right now, N was his only hope. Within the chain ofmand at the Azure Dragon Unit Base, Lamont ranked just below Commander Rayne. Any harm that came to him under their watch would be impossible to justify to higher-ups.
Relief flickered in Glenn’s chest knowing that N was on-site. Rumors had spread that not only was she affiliated with the elusive Healer, she had trained under the Healer directly. No one in the Base Medical Center inspired more faith than her.
Since the day Glenn learned of N’s connection to the Healer, he had never treated her as anything less than elite.
Stories about the Healer had be legend—tales of impossible recoveries and miracles in crisis.
Despite never meeting the Healer himself, Glenn respected the mystery. The Healer’s identity remained unknown, but N’s recognition by the Healer promised her a future full of possibilities.
Privately, Glenn had even started to imagine N stepping into his role someday.
The second N approached the bed, everyone stepped aside like a tide pulling back. After a swift but thorough assessment, she straightened.
“Deputy Commander Aston’s situation is critical. If we wait any longer, we risk losing him entirely. But I can save him.”
A heavy silence fell for a moment. The first half of her deration had struck like a blow—but the second halfnded like a promise.
Glenn exhaled shakily, visibly relieved. “You’re extraordinary, N. Now I see why the Healer ced so much faith in you.”

Around the room, the consulting doctors gave respectful nods.
“Dr. Vance truly upholds the reputation of this medical center,” one of them murmured, echoing the sentiment shared by all.
“Dr. Vance might be young, but she’s exceptional. With her leading the charge, our hospital’s status in the will soar.”
“For decades we’ve studied medicine, yet evenbined, we can’t touch the level the Healer has reached. With Dr. Vance here, we might finally bridge that gap.”
Admiring nces passed between the doctors, their eyes fixed on N with newfound respect.
The Base Medical Center had found a promising talent, and Glenn couldn’t help but feel proud.
Turning to N with warm approval, Glenn asked, “N, you said you can treat Deputy Commander Aston. What approach will you take?”
Rather than respond right away, N reached into her bag and retrieved a finely carved sandalwood box. When the lid was lifted, a glistening ck pill nestled inside caught the light, its deep fragrance slowly filling the air.
Before she could exin, Glenn gasped, breath catching in his throat. “Is that—could it possibly be the Healer’s famed dietary supplement?”
Glenn hadn’t dared to dream he’d witness such a thing in his lifetime. That pill—rumored, legendary—was now within arm’s reach.
