Chapter 879

    ?Chapter 879:

Elena red at him, her expression cold and unreadable.

Unfazed by her icy look, Earle grinned wider. “Since you’vee all this way, you might as welle inside.”

Without hesitation, Elena stepped into the building.

Judging by the extravagance, this had to be Earle’s private domain. Every inch of the ce exuded a level of wealth that bordered on the absurd. The rugs underfoot were likely worth tens of thousands for every patch of fabric.

The walls boasted art worthy of the finest museums, each artifact a treasure meant for schrly study, yet they were disyed here boldly. The surroundings were avish showcase of wealth, from diamond-studded sconces to gold-rimmed goblets.

Elena positioned herself in the middle of the grand hall, her eyes fixed on Earle as he casually made his way down the winding staircase.

His voice carried an irritating air of familiarity, as though he was greeting an old friend. “You made good time. I’m guessing you skipped breakfast? Works out—I’m starving too. Care to join me?”

Elena remained still, absorbing his casual reference to the violent raid he had orchestrated on the ind, which had led to deaths and abductions. The number of lives he destroyed meant nothing to him. Lydia had been right all along. Earle wasn’t just a criminal—he was a lunatic wrapped in charm.

A glint of excitement red in Earle’s eyes. With a dramatic wave, the ceiling began to retract, transforming the hall into a wide-open space under the sky.

Long tables had already beenid out with food, dishes lined up in meticulous rows.

Settling casually into a chair, Earle sliced into a steak so raw that it looked almost alive and popped a piece into his mouth. “No appetite? Maybe you’ll enjoy a little entertainment instead.”

A deafening roar from nearby des split the air.

Elena’s head snapped up at the sound of a helicopter hovering disturbingly close. Her expression shifted in an instant, and she quickly hurried to the terrace. There, she saw it without a doubt—a child!

Chuckling behind his wine ss, Earle watched her with cheerful cruelty. “Got a good view? Want a closer look?”

Elena’s eyes widened as she stared at the child dangling in midair. She instantly recognized him—it was Casper. This insane bastard had hung Casper upside down!

Elena turned sharply toward Earle, her eyes zing with suppressed fury. “What is it that you want from me?”

With a casual lift of his eyebrow, Earle responded, “Rx. All I’m asking is for you to share a meal with me.”

Barely keeping her anger in check, Elena took a seat at the table. She lowered her eyshes slightly, masking the lethal thoughts behind her gaze as she bit into the beef, fantasizing that it was Earle she was devouring. She now harbored fantasies of dismembering him and feeding the pieces to the piranhas.

Earle continued eating and drinking at a leisurely pace, clearly taking pleasure in provoking Elena’s wrath. To him, her anger only added to her allure, like a dangerous, fiery rose—beautiful yet deadly. He couldn’t help but be drawn to her sharp, untamed nature.
