?Chapter 744:
“Evelyn just made fun of Elena, and now she’s beenpletely humiliated.”
Evelyn was stunned and in disbelief. How could Elena be Fannie’s mentor? This was the most ridiculous thing she had ever heard.
“Elena obviously knows nothing about design…” Evelyn stuttered, struggling to find the right words. She had tried to use Fannie to make Elena look bad, but it had backfired on her.
Fannie scoffed and said with disgust, “Who are you to pass judgment on her like that? If you know design this well, why don’t you handle the design yourself? Since you don’t like this wedding dress, I’ll just take it back for my next fashion show and use it as the grand finale.”
Evelyn panicked and quickly tried to exin, “Fannie, that’s not what I meant…”
“Then what do you mean? Are you insulting my mentor?” Fannie’s harsh words left Evelyn unable to say anything.
Just as Aria was about to defend Evelyn, the voices of the wealthy people around them spoke louder than hers.
“Miss Harper, Ms. Ellsworth, I love this wedding dress so much. Since Miss Morgan doesn’t want it, would you sell it to me? I’m willing to pay a high price!”
“Miss Harper, I love it too! Sell it to me. I don’t care how much it costs.”
“Miss Harper, Ms. Ellsworth, I’m getting married next month. Could you design a wedding dress for me? I’ll pay double the price!”
People were practically fighting over the chance to buy the wedding dress that Elena had altered, leaving Evelynpletely speechless.
Seeing her only wedding dress about to be snatched away, Evelyn grew increasingly agitated and started pushing her way through the throng of people.
Your imagination begins with gα?ησν????s﹒?????
“This is my fucking wedding dress!” Evelyn yelled.
The room went quiet for a moment, but it was quickly shattered by a chorus of angry voices.
“You’re the one who said wearing it would be a joke! You have no taste, but you won’t let us buy it?”
“It’s only fifty million! I’ll offer a hundred million!”
Evelyn’s face turned even redder with anger. What was wrong with these people, offering such insane amounts of money for a wedding dress Elena had casually modified? Had they all gone crazy?
Aria finally realized that the situation was turning ugly. Elena was actually Fannie’s mentor, and if this continued, Evelyn would be the only one humiliated.
Aria turned to Jolie for help. “Jolie, they’re just being childish, throwing a fit. Let’s not let this ruin the rtionship between our families. The guests are here. We can’t have the bride walking down the aisle in a shirt and jeans, can we? Let Evelyn change into the wedding dress.”
Although Jolie was upset, she knew she had to prioritize the overall situation.
