Chapter 742

    ?Chapter 742:

Nobody had a clue what Elena was up to. Even though she could handle a paintbrush perfectly, a few measly flowers weren’t going to salvage that ruined wedding dress.

Evelyn sneered to herself, thinking Elena’s hick upbringing had clearly warped her sense of style. Did Elena honestly think drawing a couple of daisies counted as design? Elena was just a naive country bumpkin, way out of her league.

But as Elena kept painting, that once-filthy wedding dress started to transform, taking on a life of its own.

At some point, the whole crowd went silent, their eyes glued to whatever Elena was doing.

That jagged, uneven hem had be a winding mountain range, with the daisies on the bodice looking like they were blooming right there on the rugged peaks. It had a quiet but powerful energy, set against this grand backdrop.

Nobody could figure out how Elena had pulled it off. They’d seen every single move she made, but the final result was nothing short of dazzling.

People couldn’t help but shower Elena with praise.

“I’ve never seen a wedding dress even remotely like this!”

    “It’s freaking one-of-a-kind!”

“She’s a genius! Turning stains into flowers, breaking all the rules—who says a wedding dress has to be all white anyway?”

“Getting rid of that bulky train that just traps the bride actually makes it way more striking.”

“Who even said she doesn’t get design? She’s a freaking design wizard!”

    Your imagination begins with gα?ησν????s﹒?????

Elena put on the final touch, tossed the paintbrush aside like it was nothing, and casually kicked away Evelyn’s high heels, telling someone to fetch her a pair of stylish boots.

Evelyn had never in a million years thought Elena could actually pull off some kind of miracle with that dress.

Hearing the crowd go wild with praise, Evelyn’s face went dark, her lips pressed into a thin, angry line. She deliberately tried to find fault. “Okay, Elena’s makeover is… unique, I’ll give you that. But it’s so unique that it doesn’t even look like a wedding dress anymore! Wearing that to a wedding would be a total joke. And seeing her design be like this? Ms. Ellsworth will be absolutely pissed…”

Before Evelyn could even finish her whiny sentence, a cheerful voice cut through the room. “Who said I’d be upset? I’m absolutely bloody thrilled!”

Fannie threw her arms wide open and practically sprinted toward Elena, pulling her into a tight hug. “Elena, I’ve missed you like crazy!” The crowd was puzzled. What was happening?

“And who are you?” Evelyn snapped, irritated.
