    Aria stood her ground. Today, every big shot in the was here. If things took a turn for the worse, the Harpers would be the talk of the town for months. She figured the Harper family wouldn’t dare call off the wedding.


    While Aria was busy throwing her tantrum, Elena had already worked her magic and recovered the video from the memory card. She pulled up the footage fromst night until this morning.


    “Alright, enough with the caterwauling. It’s giving me a headache,” Elena said, her voice like ice.


    Aria’s face went white as a sheet at being dressed down by Elena. “What did you just say?”

    Elena found the part of the video she needed and yed it for everyone to see.


    At three in the morning, a stray cat jumped in through a window at the end of the hallway and into the hotel. The vent on the door of the room where the wedding dress was being kept had been left wide open. The cat squeezed through, and a minuteter, one could hear something crash. Then, the cat bolted out of the room, leaving little paint paw prints behind.


    The truth was in as day. Evelyn had forgotten to close the vent after showing off her precious dress, and a stray cat had knocked over the paint, ruining it.

    Aria couldn’t stomach seeing her precious Evelyn get the me, so she quickly changed her tune. “Since this was all just a big misunderstanding, let’s just drop it, okay? The important thing now is getting a new wedding dress flown in here. ASAP.”


    Evelyn nodded like her life depended on it. “Yeah, exactly! Getting a new dress is the only thing that matters. Everything else is just dead weight.”


    Evelyn was absolutely against the idea of being publicly embarrassed and forced to apologize to Elena. It was her damn wedding day, and she was supposed to be the star of the show. Jolie wasn’t even on her side and seemed way more concerned about Elena, which really pissed her off.
