Chapter 811

    ?Chapter 811:

As the soldiers approached, the three princes held their positions around me like shields, unwavering in their defiance.

Their presence alone was enough to halt the soldiers in their tracks, hesitation flickering across their faces.

Leonardo, livid, looked ready to erupt. He roared at his sons, his voice like thunder. “Stand aside! Or I’ll see you fall alongside this traitor!”

But the princes held their ground, exchanging a brief nce before answering in unison, their voices steady and resolute. “We will not leave her.”

Leonardo’s patience shattered. He spat his next order with venom. “Capture her! Do what you must—just ensure my sons’ lives!”

The meaning behind his words was chilling. Injuring the princes was eptable, as long as I was brought to heel.

Hearing those words, I was utterly dumbfounded. It had never urred to me that Leonardo could be so callous, so ruthlessly indifferent to the well-being of his own flesh and blood, all for the sake of capturing me.

The past now appeared to be a far more tangled web of secrets and treachery than I had ever imagined. Whatever truthsy buried there must have been so damning, so insidious, that they had driven Leonardo to this level of desperation.

Then chaos erupted. The soldiers surged forward, their war cries splitting the air as they charged at me.

Bryan was the first to leap into action. His expression turned grim as his fists became a blur, each strike sending soldiers sprawling to the ground like leaves caught in a storm. But the soldiers were relentless, their numbers overwhelming.

Dominic wasted no time. With a swift kick, he dispatched an approaching guard. Then, grabbing a sword from a fallen soldier, he whisked me to a safer corner. His de glinted with cold resolve as he fought, every swing precise and deadly. Blood sprayed, painting the garden in chaos. Yet, despite his skill, the numbers took their toll. A soldier crept up from behind and shed Dominic’s arm, the de cutting deep and staining his clothes crimson.

“Dominic!” I cried out, my voice trembling with shock and fear as I saw the blood streaming down his arm.

    ???????????????? ?????????????? ???????? g???????????????????????

Before I could even process what was happening, I saw yton, standing firm in his resolve to protect me, overwhelmed by a swarm of soldiers. They closed in like vultures, and despite his strength, their sheer numbers wore him down. A crushing blow to his shoulder forced him to his knee, a groan of pain escaping his lips.

This was spiraling out of control.

Frantically, I scanned the chaos, my eyes darting for any possible way to escape. Just then, a group of soldiers broke through the princes’ defensive line, their eyes gleaming like predators who had cornered their prey.

I froze. Untrained and unarmed, I was no match for their ruthless precision. The first soldier lunged toward me, and I braced myself for the worst. But before they could seize me, a firm hand grasped my wrist and yanked me backward. I staggered…

backward, nearly losing my bnce, as a shadow darted in front of me. In a blur of motion, the figure hurled something toward the soldiers’ faces. Almost immediately, a strange, heady scent filled the air, wrapping around us like an invisible veil. The soldiers faltered, their steps growing unsteady before dropping to the ground in unison, lifeless, as if their strings had been cruelly cut.

The peculiar yet unmistakably familiar scent wafted into my nostrils, sparking instant recognition. My heart skipped a beat as the truth dawned on me—Jett was here! He hade for me!

I turned to face my protector, d in the in garb of an ordinary soldier, his face cleverly disguised to blend into the chaos. At first nce, he seemed utterly unremarkable—just another nameless figure. But deep down, I knew with absolute certainty—it was Jett. He must have painstakingly infiltrated the soldiers, biding his time and waiting for the perfect moment to act.
