Chapter 801

    ?Chapter 801:

Something didn’t sit right with me. Makenna’s injury—it had healed so fast, almost like it never even happened.

I couldn’t stop thinking about it, trying to remember every single detail. But I couldn’t figure it out. It was all too weird.

After a few minutes of deep thinking, I finally called over a nearby servant. “Head to the stables and bring me Micha, the one who used to care for Makenna’s son.”

“Right away, sir,” the servant replied, rushing off.

It wasn’t long before Micha hobbled into the room.

Her hair was a mess, hanging in tangled strands around her face. She looked worn out, dirty, and exhausted, her clothes practically falling apart.

Leonardo’s punishment—thirtyshes—had cost her a leg, and now she was stuck doing the hardest, dirtiest work in the stables.

When she walked in, Micha immediately dropped to her knees, forcing a grin on her face. “How can I help you, Mr. Harrison?” she asked, her voice shaking.

I couldn’t hide the disdain in my eyes as I shot straight to the point. “Is there anything odd about Makenna’s son?”

She paused for a moment, thinking, and then answered quietly, “The kid—he healed way too fast, but other than that, nothing unusual about him.”

    Healing unusually fast?

My curiosity was fully triggered now. I leaned in closer, locking my gaze on her, and asked urgently, “What exactly do you mean by healing fast?”

Micha seemed to recall something and said, “Makenna’s son… he bounced back from injuries way faster than anyone else. I did what you told me—torturing him while keeping him alive—but he was just a kid. There were times he was on the brink of death from the injuries, but somehow, every single time, he’d heal at an insane speed.”

My eyebrows shot up as her words sank in, and an icy anger stirred inside me.

    ???????????????? ???????? ?g???????ν?????????????

“Why didn’t you say anything about this before?” I shouted, my voice rising in fury.

Micha recoiled, terrified, and stuttered, “I didn’t think it was important… I really didn’t know…”

I clenched my teeth, frustrated. “You idiot! Do you have any idea how much of my time you’ve wasted?”

Without another word, I motioned to my men. “Take her away, and deal with her.”

Micha’s face drained of color, and she scrambled, crying out in desperation, “Please, Mr. Harrison, don’t! I swear, I won’t make this mistake again!”

But as her cries echoed in the room, a bold, shocking thought struck me.

Could Makenna be a white wolf?

    Antoni’s POV:

The thought took root in my mind and began to grow, like a vine wrapping itself tighter with every passing moment.

I paced the length of the living room, my footsteps echoing softly against the floor. After a moment of deliberation, I stopped in my tracks and turned to one of the servants standing quietly behind me. “Fetch Evelyn for me,” Imanded, my tone sharp and precise.

Evelyn appeared soon after, practically glowing with joy.

It was clear she had spared no effort in perfecting her look. Her delicate pink gown clung to her like a second skin, highlighting the wless, creamy texture of herplexion. The moment her gaze met mine, her eyes lit up with an eager brightness, as if a spark had ignited a fire deep within her.
