Chapter 765

    ?Chapter 765:

I turned toward the door, my irritation ring. Dinner again. Were those three still there?

“I won’t being down. Bring my meal up to me,” I replied curtly, unwilling to face the princes.

The servant remained silent for a moment before speaking again. “Your Highnesses have something important to discuss with you. Pleasee down for dinner.”

Irritated, I snapped, “I’m not interested in whatever they have to say. I won’t being downstairs.”

“They said it’s about your departure,” the servant quickly added.

My heart skipped a beat. Departure? Were they really considering letting me go? Suspicion clouded my thoughts. I asked with a sneer, “Have they suddenly changed their minds? Do they truly n to let me leave?”

“You’ll know once youe down, Miss Dunn,” the servant urged.

I hesitated, weighing my options, before finally deciding to see what this was about.

By the time I entered the dining room, the three of them were already seated at the table. I deliberately chose the seat farthest from them and sat down. My voice was cold as I asked, “What do you want?”

yton ced a steaming bowl of soup in front of me and said softly, “Eat first. We’ll talk after dinner.”

I wanted to refuse outright, but the look on yton’s face softened my resolve. Reluctantly, I lifted the bowl and drank it in one go. Setting it down firmly, I said, “Get to the point.”

Dominic straightened and met my gaze. “We’ve decided to let you leave,” he finally said.

“Let me leave the pce?” I asked, my toneced with skepticism. Why were they being so magnanimous all of a sudden?

    ???????? ?????????????? ?????????? ?????????? ???? ??????????ν?????????????

Bryan shook his head and said, “Not exactly. We’ll let you return to the pce, but you won’t be a prisoner anymore.”

His words caught me off guard. Not long ago, they had seemed intent on keeping me locked up indefinitely. Why the sudden change of heart now? Suspicion tightened in my chest as I nced at the three of them, who appeared to be silentlymunicating among themselves.

Finally, Dominic spoke. “Don’t you want to leave? You’re wee to stay if you don’t.”

I let out a dry chuckle. “Of course I want to leave. I don’t care what trick you’re ying, as long as I get away from you.”

With that, I stood and made ready to leave.

“Aren’t you going to have dinner?” yton called from behind.

I paused for a brief moment before replying, “Since you’re letting me go, I’m leaving now. I can’t bear another second here with you.”

All I wanted was to leave this ce that had caused me so much pain and suffering. Whatever they had nned was no longer any of my concern.

    Makenna’s POV:

I didn’t bother gathering my belongings. After leaving behind those resolute words, I hurriedly made my exit from the vi. The three of them were as unpredictable as a sudden storm, and if they changed their minds, I wouldn’t stand a chance of leaving.

Breaking into a brisk jog, I headed toward my ce. The icy wind sliced across my cheeks, forcing me to shrink into myself, pulling my cor up to shield against its bite.
