?Chapter 1020:
“My family’s estate is quite big, too,” Flossie said, looking away. “We have a mansion in Jairta, which has a different style. It covers only a thousand acres, not asrge as this ce.”
Levy rested one hand on the steering wheel and turned to look at Flossie. He had always known she came from a good background, given her manners and her nonchnt attitude toward buying houses. But he had clearly underestimated her.
She had a thousand-acre mansion in Jairta, and she was a Yount.
These clues made it easier for him to investigate her background.
With permission from inside, the security let them through.
Ellie was waiting for Flossie in the yard, with two maids standing beside her.
Cayson, noticing Levy and Flossie, said, “Miss Yount, please take a seat. Mr. Sanders, Mr. Thorpe is on his way back. You can wait for him in the living room.” He said these words to make sure Ellie knew who had arrived.
“Mr. Sanders, pleasee in,” Ellie said.
“Thank you, Ellie,” Levy replied, his confusion evident in his eyes.
Why wasn’t she making eye contact?
As soon as Flossie sat down, she sensed something was wrong, and her expression changed drastically.
“El, your eyes…”
Even with her eyes open, it was clear that Ellie was blind.
“I can’t see for the time being,” Ellie sighed. “If we hadn’t run into each other at the hospital, I could’ve kept this under wraps a little longer.”
Ellie knew that with Levy bringing Flossie here, her secret was out. Flossie was sharp and observant; she must have had doubts during their previous calls.
Flossie pressed her lips together and red at Ellie.
Ellie leaned back in her chair, totally at ease, and smiled. “Flossie, I can’t see right now. Even if you’re mad, unless you speak up, I won’t know.”

“You’re using your illness to get sympathy, knowing I can’t do anything butfort you, right?” Flossie frowned. “El, do you think of me as a friend? This is huge, and you kept it a secret?”
Ellie chuckled. “I didn’t tell Baylee either. Please don’t be mad.”
Flossie snorted. “Well, you’re in for it. When she finds out, you’ll get an earful.”
Ellie was at a loss for words.
Ellie felt guilty and kept quiet, pursing her lips.
Flossie just stared at her. Usually a gentle woman, she now exuded firmness and determination.
“Oh my! You realize it now, don’t you?” Flossie said. “Baylee will find out sooner orter, and I’ll get a scolding either way. It’s better if it happenster. Don’t you agree?”
Ellie murmured in response. She wasn’t just hiding it from Baylee, but also from her cousins.
Flossie muttered under her breath, “I don’t think so.”
Ellie then asked, “Flossie, you and Levy… What happened?”
“I didn’t know where you lived, so I asked him for help. El, don’t change the subject!”
