?Chapter 973:
The project director had prior knowledge of Ellie’s identity, so he treated her with great courtesy. Upon discovering Ellie’s pregnancy, everyone present was very amicable towards her, creating a harmonious atmosphere.
As Ellie and Baylee were preparing to leave, the next team began entering the studio.
Ellie suddenly paused, her gaze fixed on the direction of the door.
Baylee, sensing Ellie’s focus, nced over and pursed her lips.
Not far away, Levy’s right hand was still in a cast, resting on his chest. Flossie nervously held onto him, afraid someone might identally bump into him.
“Is Flossie with Levy once more?” Baylee nced at Ellie in disbelief. She couldn’t fathom it!
Ellie was equally perplexed. She couldn’t grasp it either.
Levy suddenly felt the stares from both Ellie and Baylee. He halted, and Flossie turned to face them.
When their eyes met, Ellie noticed a guilty expression on Flossie’s face. “I’lle with you to greet them, alright?” Levy reassured Flossie, patting her shoulder.
Biting her lip, Flossie nodded.
As Flossie approached, her hands instinctively sped together. She greeted, “El, Baylee.”
Ellie nodded at Flossie and nced over at Levy. “Mr. Sanders, what brings you here? What a coincidence!”
Every word she spoke seemed innocuous, yet it inexplicably struck Levy as ironic.
Maintaining hisposure, Levy remarked, “Hi, Ellie. What a coincidence to run into you here. I’m here for an interview.”
As Levy prepared for his interview, Flossie assisted him in removing the bandage from around his neck and discreetly positioning his injured right hand inside his suit jacket. Her soft hair brushed against his chin, leaving Levy with a tickling sensation.
“Flossie, if you continue to treat me so well, Ellie might start hating me more,” Levy chuckled to himself involuntarily.

Flossie lifted her head and gazed at Levy with her innocent, clear eyes. Within moments, she grasped his implication.
Lowering her gaze, she replied, “You saved me, and you’re still recovering. It’s my turn to help.”
While Levy engaged in discussions with the staff regarding interview details, Flossie walked over to Ellie and Baylee.
“I won’t pry into your personal matters if you prefer not to share,” Ellie spoke first. “But Flossie, you need to consider it carefully.”
She hoped Flossie remembered how heartbroken she had been after breaking up with Levy.
“His arm was broken, and Levy had serious muscle injuries from trying to save me.” Biting her lip, Flossie added, “When he recovers, I won’t stay with him anymore. I know I’m not his type.”
Ellie was shocked. She immediately inquired about what had happened to Flossie and was left speechless upon learning the cause of the ident. She even nced at Baylee, as if to say, “Marvin had saved you too once.” Baylee’s face remained nk. She didn’t want to recall it.
“Why did youe to take care of Mr. Sanders today, Flossie? Did he ask you, or did you offer?” Baylee asked.
