    “Ellie, who was that woman just now?” Daniel asked as they walked.


    “That’s rinda Hilton, Brisa’s bone marrow donor,” Ellie replied.


    Daniel frowned slightly. The woman seemed familiar, but he was certain he had never seen her or heard her name before.


    Inside the room, Caroley on the bed listlessly. When Daniel, Ellie, and Kaiden entered, Carole looked at them with dull eyes.


    Daniel spoke. “Carole, we’ve managed to block the news about you on the inte. Even though you’re no longer part of our family after you returned the locket, you’re still considered a Lambert. We can send you abroad and give you a fresh start.”

    “She doesn’t appear to be in her right mind,” Daniel remarked coldly. “Since she has mental issues, I’ll take her to a psychiatric hospital.”
