    “Glenn is just protective. He’s worried I might get mistreated. Kaiden, you’re the father of our baby. How could I leave our child without a father?”


    “Didn’t you once say that our child could thrive without a father? Hasn’t Glenn always wanted to take my son from me?” Kaiden snorted.

    Just as Ellie was about to speak positively about Glenn to Kaiden to improve his opinion, Kaiden suddenly nced to his right.     “Miss Hilton.” Ellie sat up straight and nodded at rinda.

    Brisa was scheduled for her bone marrow transnt the next day. She had been well enough today to leave the ward for a while, but Jorge couldn’t rx knowing she was always outside.
