?Chapter 935:
Levy’s eyes darkened.
She seemed thrilled when she talked about Theo.
“How’s the wound on your hand?” Levy asked.
Flossie nced at the gauze on her right hand and replied, “It’s almost healed.” Thinking about the injury reminded Flossie of the new girlfriend she saw at the hospital.
She stepped back, feeling sad, and decided to distance herself from Levy.
He had another girlfriend.
She couldn’t be the other woman.
“Mr. Sanders, thank you for your help earlier. If there’s nothing else, I’ll be leaving now.”
Watching her walk away, Levy felt a twinge of annoyance.
He followed her outside and lit a cigarette.
As soon as he took out the lighter, his eyes narrowed, and he rushed over without hesitation.
Flossie stood in the shadow of the tall building, waiting for her car.
Suddenly, a noise caught her attention.
Before she could identify it, instinct warned her, sending a shiver down her spine.
In an instant, a figure charged toward her!
Levy shoved Flossie aside.
Almost simultaneously, something plummeted from above and struck Levy.
The force knocked him to the ground.
“Woof! Woof!”
A puppy had dropped from the sky and writhed in pain on the ground. It didn’t have any visible wounds, but it couldn’t get up and whimpered.

“Levy!”
In a daze, Flossie rushed to assist Levy.
“It’s alright. It missed my head,” Levy said as beads of sweat formed on his forehead. “Are you okay?”
“Y-yes.”
Flossie dialed for an ambnce.
“Flossie, try not to let your hands shake,” Levy said softly.
The intense pain from the impact prevented him from standing up right away. Levy was too heavy for Flossie to support, so she sat down and let him lean against her.
Her gentle presence distracted Levy. He remembered their once intimate moments.
“No, my… my hands aren’t shaking…” Flossie’s hands trembled, and her voice also quivered.
Themotion quickly drew attention. Some expressed concern for Levy, while others debated which family the puppy belonged to, and a few spected about futurepensation.
