    Soon, the car was parked outside the building where Thomasina was filming her advertisement. Just as Ellie was about to step out, Flossie hurriedly exited from the other side, opened Ellie’s door, and assisted her.


    Ellie frowned. “I’m pregnant, not a fragile doll,” she quipped.


    Flossie had her reasons. “Considering that I was the target of the incident and it inconvenienced you, it’s only natural for me to be more attentive to your needs,” she said.


    It was clearly an excuse. In Flossie’s mind, pregnant women were delicate and vulnerable.


    “Please stop,dies. There’s filming in progress inside, so no entry is allowed,” the studio staff informed them as soon as they reached the door.


    Ellie nodded. “Alright then, we won’t go in. Please let Thomasina know I am here to see her. My name is Ellie.”


    “You’re Ellie?” The staff member looked at her in surprise.


    “What’s the matter?”


    The staff quickly stepped aside for Ellie. “Mrs. Thorpe, I apologize for stopping you just now. Pleasee this way. Actually, GT Group has invested in us.”


    Flossie couldn’t resist giving Ellie a thumbs-up.


    Ellie raised an eyebrow. Kaiden’s influence was more extensive than she had imagined, and a sense of pride for her husband swirled inside her.


    Inside the studio, Thomasina continued filming under the bright lights.


    “Should I let Miss Aston know?” the staff member inquired.


    “I’ll wait until she’s done with her shoot,” Ellie replied.


    Although she hade to confront Thomasina, she wasn’t about to involve the brand just to cause trouble for her. Wisely, the staff brought Ellie a chair and some water.

Following her assistant’s gaze, Thomasina spotted Ellie and Flossie sitting in the corner of the studio. Her heart skipped a beat. Startled, she identally hit the table, breaking a nail and causing her finger to bleed.


    “What is Ellie doing here?” Thomasina’s expression darkened. “How did she manage to get in? The studio’s security is sox. What if crazed fans got in?”


    “Well, Thomasina, this studio belongs to Kaiden, and Ellie is his wife.”


    Thomasina snorted at the revtion, realizing that Ellie had indeed struck gold by marrying into wealth. She wiped the blood from her finger with a tissue, her expression solemn. After a few moments, she forced a smile and approached, as if their previous conflict had never happened.


    “Mrs. Thorpe, you wanted to see me?” Thomasina asked,pletely ignoring Flossie.


    As soon as Thomasina approached, the strong scent of her perfume made Ellie instinctively step back. She frowned slightly, a hint of disgust flickering across her face. Many eyes in the studio had caught the subtle movement just moments ago.


    Ellie’s gesture seemed like a public rebuke to Thomasina.


    “Mrs. Thorpe, what are you implying?” Thomasina frowned, her smile fading.
