    Levy nodded to acknowledge her. He and Kaiden put out their cigarettes and waited for the smoke to clear before approaching Ellie and Flossie.


    Ellie let out a sigh. She hadn’t expected Levy toe to Kaiden after learning he was at the hospital, yet here he was, ending up face-to-face with Flossie.


    “What’s wrong with your hand?” Levy immediately noticed the bandaged right hand.


    Without saying a word, Flossie instinctively hid it behind her back. It looked too unsightly.


    “Levy, did you break up with Thomasina?” Ellie asked gently, though Levy sensed a hint of mischief in her tone.


    “Yes.” Levy nodded.


    Ellie said yfully, “Then you’ve hit the jackpot. Your ex-girlfriend owes me millions. If you were still her boyfriend, you’d probably be writing me a check right now.”


    “Did Thomasina upset you, Ellie?” Levy frowned.


    Flossie gently tugged at Ellie’s clothes. Ellie shot Levy a re and remained silent. Levy was confused, unsure of what was going on. Had Thomasina truly offended Ellie?


    At first, Levy thought of asking Flossie, but it didn’t feel appropriate given their rtionship.


    “Levy.”


    At that moment, the sharp ck of high heels was followed by a woman’s voice. Flossie felt a chill run through her body.


    A woman with curly hair approached and casually linked arms with Levy. Spotting Ellie, her eyes sparkled as she eximed cheerfully, “Are you Ellie? I adore your personal designs. I attended your live show Light and was captivated. You’re truly amazing!”


    “Thank you,” Ellie replied warmly. She couldn’t stay upset with someone who greeted her so sincerely, so she smiled back immediately.


    Ellie’s eyes lingered noticeably on the woman and Levy. However, Levy made no effort to introduce her.


    “Would you guys like to join me for dinner tonight?” Levy asked Kaiden and Theo. They were always busy and rarely had the chance to see each other.
