    Kaiden escorted her to the study and instructed her to sit in a chair. He then fetched two sheets of A4 paper and a pen. “Write a self-critique review,” he instructed sternly.


    “What?” Ellie asked in disbelief. How absurd! She had never written a self-critique review since she was a child!


    Frowning, Ellie pulled out her phone.


    She heard him say, “Don’t giarize from the inte.” Ellie was taken aback.


    Come on! She was just using it as a reference, not copying!


    Kaiden went on, “I doubt you’ll find any online references about pregnant women fighting.”


    Ellie was left speechless once more. She was upset!


    But Ellie knew she was in the wrong.


    Kaiden vacated hisrge desk for Ellie and settled on the sofa with hisptop to work.


    Ellie felt like she was back in school, being singled out for an exam with the strictest principal as the invigtor!


    “Are you done?” Kaiden lifted his head and inquired.


    With the pen in hand, Ellie turned instinctively to gaze at the A4 paper before her but remained silent.


    Kaiden approached to inspect. “A Self-criticism Review: ‘I, Ellie, was involved in a fight today. Here’s my reflection,''” he read aloud.


    That was all.


    It had taken her an hour just to write those few words.


    “I don’t know how to do this. I’ve never had to before,” Ellie exined, indicating she had always beenpliant since childhood.


    “What about your reflection?” Kaiden questioned, sensing that her demeanor in admitting her mistakes was insincere.

    “I assessed my fighting abilities against Quincy’s. In the first ten minutes, Quincy could only match me. Once I grew tired and Baylee had nearly settled things with Aphrodite, we could leave without any harm to me,” Ellie exined. Kaiden’s expression darkened.
