    Kaiden couldn’t suppress a chuckle before leaning in to kiss her tenderly on the lips.


    The kiss deepened as his desire intensified.


    Observing this, the driver in the front of the car discreetly raised the partition between the back and the front seats.


    Moments passed and Ellie’s expression suddenly shifted dramatically. With a surge of strength, she pushed Kaiden away.


    Her resistance stemmed not from ack of breath during the kiss, but from a deeper difort.

    She was retching uncontrobly, but she couldn’t spit out anything.


    “Are you feeling unwell?” Kaiden held Ellie close and instructed the driver to proceed with caution.


    “I get carsick.” Ellie hadn’t felt this way before. She sighed before adding, “And today’s lunch didn’t suit my taste either.”

    Shaking her head, Ellie reassured him, “I’m feeling much better now.” Wasn’t it amusing to consider going to the hospital simply because she experienced motion sickness?

    “I just passed by Jorge’s study and overheard the butler and Brisa discussing shares. Brisa expressed gratitude to Jorge on behalf of Kaiden,” Talon exined, his expression darkening.

    Jorge had summoned Kaiden back today under the guise of a family dinner, but the true motive was the transfer of shares!
