Chapter 798

    ?Chapter 798:

Mncholy washed over her as memories of her past resurfaced. She was brought back to the present by Marvin’s warm kiss on her cheek.

Marvin’s eyes brimmed with passion as he gazed at her affectionately, seemingly oblivious to everything else. He inquired, “Are you alright?”

She smiled and replied, “I’m fine, as long as I’m with you.”

She chose not to divulge the truth, fearing it might upset him to hear about his love rival, Quincy.

Taking a deep breath, he said, “I’m sorry. I didn’t realize you were inexperienced. I’m sorry for causing you pain.”

He held her gently, as though she were a precious treasure cherished by the world. Bowing his head in remorse, he murmured, “I shouldn’t have acted impulsively.”

She tilted her chin, pouting slightly in disbelief. She viewed him as a skilled charmer adept atforting distressed women. Despite his sincere apology, she couldn’t shake the feeling that he didn’t truly feel remorseful.

He breathed in the scent of her hair, reveling in their newfound love. For years, he had harbored jealousy toward Quincy, but now he felt ted knowing she had never been intimate with him.

Feeling fatigued, Baylee decided against lecturing him about his behavior in bed.

Meanwhile, Omiros prepared to sit for his college entrance examination. Ellie requested leave to drive him to school, while Kaiden couldn’t apany them due to an importantpany meeting.

As they made their way, Omiros murmured, “Ellie, you’re much kinder than Kaiden.” He nced out the car window at their surroundings.

Ellie chuckled softly. “The exam is about to begin. Are you nervous?”

Omiros’s tone was casual. “Nervous? Not at all. The school feels like a prison to me. Once this exam is over, I’ll be free to enjoy my holiday.” Ellie was left speechless. She didn’t want to engage in an argument with the mischievous boy.

Curiously, Omiros asked, “Ellie, were you ever anxious about exams when you were younger? Oh, wait! I recall you never took the college entrance exam. You were admitted to a prestigious university based on your exceptional performance in high school. Have you ever felt nervous in a significantpetition?”

Ellie shook her head. “Whenever Ipete, I alwayse out on top. I often rank first!”

Omiros bowed his head, sping his hands together as if in prayer. “I apologize. I should refrain from discussing this topic further.” He held back his words, fearing a lecture from Ellie about the importance of academic diligence and exam sess. He didn’t want to hear anyone preach about the negative impact of video games.

The school gate was bustling with teachers and parents giving instructions to the examinees. Elliecked any relevant experience to share with Omiros regarding college entrance examinations.

He exited the car and mmed the door shut. “Ellie, you can head back now. You can arrange for someone to pick me up in three hours.”

Ellie leaned out of the window, peering at him. “No need. I’ll wait for you in the car. I can pass the time by watching movies on my phone.” Omiros nodded. “Alright.”
