Chapter 776

    ?Chapter 776:

Mr. Hill was known to be ruthless. Marvin acknowledged it by raising his eyebrows slightly. However, he offered no defense of his external image.

“That’s true for outsiders,” he said. “But with you, it’s different.”

“How am I different?” Baylee tilted her chin up a notch. “Stay away from me.” Their toes were practically touching.

Hearing her request, Marvin took a half step back, still keeping her within arm’s reach.

“You told me to stay away, and Iplied without a doubt,” he exined, demonstrating hispliance with a physical gesture. “Now, can’t you see that you are different from others in my eyes?”

This time, Baylee couldn’t contain the smile ying on her lips.

Her smile blossomed, her eyes sparkling like stars.

Marvin’s gaze intensified, holding her captive.

She remained silent, leaving the unspoken words hanging in the air.

Marvin, disying the patience of a seasoned hunter, waited quietly for her response.

    Finally, she broke the silence.

“Alright then, Mr. Hill,” she conceded, “congrattions. You’ve secured yourself a girlfriend.”

A moment of stunned silence followed her deration. Marvin seemed frozen in time.

Baylee waved her hand in front of his face. “Are you having second thoughts…” Before she could finish her jab, Marvin snapped out of his daze. With a swift movement, he pulled her close by the back of her head, drawing her into a passionate kiss that left her wide-eyed.

His kiss conveyed a sense of urgency and warmth.

Taken aback, Baylee attempted to move away, but she found herself being pulled even closer. They both tumbled back onto the sofa.

Initially awkward, the kiss quickly transformed into something skilled and undeniably captivating.

When he finally released her, Baylee gasped for air.

She felt something poking her body.

Her eyes darted down for a fleeting moment before shifting away as if stung. Marvin chuckled at himself, slightly raising his body to relieve any pressure on her.

“Sorry, I got a bit carried away; my body wouldn’t listen to me.”

Baylee was speechless. His words did little to ease her fluster.

Unable to meet his gaze, Baylee said dryly, “You… your kissing skills are surprisingly good. Not like someone inexperienced.”

Marvin nodded, epting herpliment. “I think there’s always room for improvement. I should practice more.”

“You wish!” Baylee shoved him away, her eyes instinctively darting down again.

She didn’t have any condoms at home, so if they continued like this…
