Chapter 751

    ?Chapter 751:

Kaiden let out a sigh. “From this moment forward, my gifts are for you alone. Does that make you happy?”

Ellie remained unappeased. Lounging on the sofa, her voice took on an unexpectedly yful tone. “The way you phrase that makes me seem so unreasonable, Kaiden. Perhaps I should add you to my WhatsApp block list after all!”

Kaiden could feel a headache brewing. He hadn’t considered her unreasonable until she pointed it out herself, and now thebel seemed to fit. Yet, her childlike petnce and the fuss it created didn’t irritate him.

Rather, he felt a sense of resigned eptance, puzzled over how to make her happy, but somehow finding herints charming.

After they ended the call, Ellie nced once more at Carole’s post, and this time, it struck her as funny. It appeared as a feeble attempt at attention.

Just then, her phone rang with an unknown number.

    “Hello?” she answered.

The caller remained silent for a moment, then let out a low, pleasantugh.

    It was a man.

The voice felt familiar to Ellie, yet she couldn’t immediately recall who it was.

    “Miss Gordon, this is Kristopher.”

“Mr. Wright, I apologize, I haven’t saved your number.” Ellie quickly realized whom she was speaking to.

“It’s fine,” Kristopher replied, his voice as soothing as always. “I have an interview tomorrow and I’m in need of a stylist. Would you be avable to assist?”

“Absolutely!” Ellie was quick to agree, mindful of the debt she felt she owed Kristopher. This debt was not merely financial, extending beyond the hundred million to the kindness shared in their youth.

The following day, after her sses, Ellie rushed to a photo studio in the Central Business District.

Kristopher presented himself strikingly, d in a dark suit. He was not confined to his wheelchair but instead reclinedfortably on a couch. His presence was somewhat daunting from a distance.

Yet, the moment he saw Ellie, any hint of aloofness in his expression softened into a weing warmth.

Kristopher had an interview about finance lined up, for which Ellie crafted a straightforward business ensemble.

The task didn’t demand much; Kristopher’s natural appeal meant he needed no makeup. Ellie concentrated on the finer points of his attire and arranged his hair.

“Mr. Wright, I thought you were a photographer. Isn’t this interview focused on finance?” Ellie inquired as she adjusted his hair.

“Photography is more of a pastime. Today, I’m stepping in as an entrepreneur. Well, I see you have a good understanding of managing multiple hobbies at the same time,” Kristopher exined with a grin, likening himself to Ellie.
