    “What?” Ellie was taken aback.

There’s chatter online iming that NPC might be your ex-boyfriend.” Ellie almost choked on her drink in disbelief. “Erick is just under six feet tall. How could anyone confuse Kaiden with Erick?” she questioned, immediately leaping to her husband’s defense.


    Baylee couldn’t help butugh at her friend’s protective stance.


    Ellie quickly grabbed her phone to see what people were saying online. The onlinemunity was divided, with some suggesting the mysterious man was merely a staff member, while others spected he was Ellie’s ex-boyfriend.


    “Why isn’t anyone guessing he’s my husband?” Ellie was puzzled.


    “Given the grandeur of your mansion shown on the first day’s live broadcast, it’s clear your husband isn’t just anyone. Do you really think someone of his stature would show up to an event like this?” Baylee reasoned.


    Ellie was speechless. Kaiden had really skipped work to be here! She let out a sigh and said, “I decided to be on this show because it wasn’t well-known.”


    Who would have guessed that her decision to join would lead to her constantly bing a hot topic, always making it to the trending searches?

    “Someizens and promotional ounts are starting to snoop around your ex-boyfriend’s background. They’ll likely stumble upon Erick soon,” Baylee updated, leaving the next move up to Ellie.

    Ellie really didn’t like her personal life being in the spotlight, but given the current situation, staying silent would only give those with hidden agendas more freedom to twist things.
