?Chapter 606:
Hearing something of interest, he looked at Ellie with a knowing nce and asked, “R?”
Ellie hesitated, not wanting to admit it was her ount, and quickly came up with an excuse. “Oh, that’s a friend of mine!”
Kaiden chuckled softly, looking down at Ellie with a rxed expression. “So, you’re going to exin it like that to everyone tomorrow?” he asked.
Ellie awkwardly touched her nose, realizing that trying to deceive Kaiden was futile. “I was just sharing some songs for fun on that ount. I shared that song to see how people would react, especially to get some feedback to make improvements,” she exined.
“So, were you trying to keep something from me by lying?” Kaiden probed.
“No, you’re reading too much into it,” Ellie replied, a bit flustered. She then snuggled into the nkets, leaving only her eyes peering out. “I’m off to bed now. Good night!”
The ount was actually linked to the Rich Private Foundation, and she preferred Kaiden not to delve into this topic.
Kaiden respected her wish for privacy, giving her a goodnight kiss without pressing further.
Once Ellie was asleep, Kaiden went to his study to look up her Twitter ount. He discovered that “R” had posted about a dozen songs over thest three years, all of which had gained significant poprity and caught the attention of leading recordbels.
Other than sharing songs, the ount showed no other signs of activity, almost as if it were automated.
Kaiden, who wasn’t much of a music buff, nheless listened to each song repeatedly. All the songs were Ellie’s work, her ownpositions, filling him with an indescribable sense of pride. Yet, he also felt a twinge of annoyance.
“Sheposed a song for Brisa but not for me!” he grumbled, somewhat irked.
Kaiden began to suspect Ellie was deliberately distancing herself from the identity “R.” Could it stand for RICH? It wasn’t just a bar’s name, but also the name of a mysterious foundation! Still, Kaiden decided to let the secret be, finding her secretive behavior somewhat entertaining to watch.
The “Workce Diary” program was set to start at nine in the morning. Ellie woke up an hour early, got ready, and put on some light makeup. She was sipping her coffee when there was a knock at the door.
Opening it, she found herself facing a camera. Behind the camera, a group of about a dozen crew members and additional cameras awaited, each person looking eager and professional.
“Good morning, everyone. Come on in,” she greeted them warmly. This was Ellie’s debut live broadcast, yet she was impressivelyposed.
The host hesitated at the entrance, eyeing the luxurious carpet, and asked in a low voice, “Do we need to change into slippers, or should we wear shoe covers?”
“No, don’t worry about it. Please,e in,” Ellie reassured with a smile, puzzled by the crew’s unusual courtesy.
