Chapter 576

    ?Chapter 576:

Ellie was momentarily taken aback, but she quickly realized this had nothing to do with Kaiden.

There was no way Kaiden would have Carole join the Thorpe Group just to frustrate himself.

With Erick showing no signs of leaving, Ellie decided to walk out of the resting room. Out of sight, out of mind.

Akira, a member of the creative team who wasn’t allowed on stage, stood at the back door, staring at a photo of Ellie and Erick on her phone. In the picture, although they weren’t physically close, the angle made it seem as if they were gazing deeply into each other’s eyes—especially Erick, whose intense stare was unmistakable.

“Miss Gordon! Miss Gordon, please wait!”

Just a few steps away, a man in a floral suit hurried after her.

Ellie felt like she had seen him before. After a brief moment, she recognized him. “Mr. Lyons?”

“Yes, that’s me!” Gerardo nodded, his eyes sparkling with excitement. “Miss Gordon, I’ve been meaning to talk to you about acquiring the rights to a piece of music.”

He began humming the melody of the violin piece they had discussed before.

“Miss Gordon, did youpose this piece? I really like it. Would it be possible for me to buy the rights from you? We can discuss the price—whether it’s a one-time payment or royalties, either works for me. It would be a shame for such a beautifulposition to remain unheard!”

That violin piece had beenposed so long ago, yet Gerardo still remembered it vividly.

Suddenly, her phone buzzed. The screen disyed Kaiden’s name.

After Ellie picked up the call, she stepped outside, leaving Gerardo with a parting message. “Feel free to use it, and don’t worry about payment. It’s a piece Iposed for someone dear to me. If you need the music sheet, just have someone get in touch with me.”

The thought of selling the piece she had written for Brisa didn’t feel right.

    Ellie left the broadcast hall.

A few steps away, a tall man stood waiting under the porch. His serious expression softened the moment he saw her.

    Ellie quickened her pace subconsciously.

Remembering their time on Heart Ind, Kaiden opened his arms, ready for her hug.

“Why are you here?” Ellie asked, looking up at him while still in his embrace.

Kaiden gently touched her head, his expression tense. “Something happened to Cecelia.”

Right after Demi ended her live broadcast, Ellie grabbed her by the wrist. “Grandma’s in the hospital, and we need to go now!”

“What’s going on, Ellie? Let me go!” Demi yelled for her bodyguards. “What’s wrong with you guys? Didn’t you see her grab me?”
