    Ellie, no stranger to such remarks, threw down a challenge. “Why don’t you say that again, but over there?” She subtly tilted her head in Daniel’s direction.


    Daniel, who was always paying attention to Susanna, immediately noticed something was off and walked over. “Susanna, stirring up trouble again?” he asked.


    Susanna shot back, visibly upset, “No, I’m not! Why do you say ‘again’?”


    The rtionship between Susanna and Daniel immediately caught everyone’s attention.


    “Mr. Lambert, Miss Robbins just said she didn’t recognize Susanna and questioned where she came from,” Ellie stated, directing the matter to Daniel.


    Daniel, reading between the lines thanks to his extensive business background, casually ced an arm around Susanna and fixed his gaze on Essence, silently pressuring her.


    “Is Miss Robbins having a problem with my fiancée? She’s now part of the Lambert family.”


    The crowd gasped in surprise.


    “Sorry, I blurted out prematurely just now!” Essence quickly apologized, her face showing a tinge of displeasure.

    Ellie gave her a quick, knowing nce. “No matter how long I stay, it’s longer than you could ever manage.”


    Essence, ready to snap back, stopped when she saw Kaiden standing nearby. She forced a smile and said, “See, Mr. Thorpe is off to meet Carole!”
