I don’t think she has tampered with your mother’s medicine.”


    Back at the hospital, Carole took out an opened bottle of vitamins that she had hidden when Kaiden was there.

    Kaiden dialed Ellie’s number.

    “This sort of gossip will never happen again,” Kaiden promised solemnly.
