Chapter 501

    ?Chapter 501:

“Apologies, but the number you’ve called is currently unavable.” The manager casually savored his tea, appearing poised as if anticipating Kaiden’s subsequent actions.

The unspoken message behind the declined call was unmistakable.

Ellie had no intention of engaging inmunication with him. Moreover, the manager’s usation of harassment appeared to be Ellie’s deceptive maneuver.

“Young man, if Miss Gordon isn’t fond of you and declines to meet, it’s best to let go,” the manager offered.

Kaiden experienced a sudden pang in his chest, not knowing what to do next.

After a moment, hepromised. He left the milk tea on the reception desk, saying, “I won’t go up, but can you give this to her?”

Casting a nce at the package, the manager retorted, “I’m a gatekeeper, not a courier.”

He had no intention of assisting someone used of harassment for deceiving a student.

Observing Kaiden exiting the dorm, Bruce swiftly made his way toward him. “Sir, Mr. Howell mentioned some urgent matters requiring your attention. It’s rted to Miss Lambert.”

Kaiden scowled in annoyance. “Inform him to wait for me at the hospital.”

He desired to remain in close proximity to Ellie.

However, matters concerning Brisa and Carole required prompt resolution.

ncing at the milk tea he held, Kaiden strolled into a nearby convenience store.

Bruce, waiting outside, observed as Kaiden handed the milk tea to the cashier, uttering words that sparked excitement in the cashier girl.

    Kaiden emerged empty-handed.

“Sir, you handed the milk tea to the convenience store?” Bruce was taken aback.

Kaiden had patiently waited in line for twenty minutes to purchase milk tea and then simply handed it over?

Kaiden shot a nce at Bruce.

Bruce interpreted a message of “are you stupid?” in Kaiden’s gaze.

    The lights illuminated Ellie’s dorm.

Kaiden cast a lingering nce before getting into the car. He instructed, “Head to the hospital.”

Ellie observed Kaiden’s iing call, gazing until it ceased ringing and registered as a missed call.

Within seconds, she calmly deleted the call log.

Suddenly, a series of knocks echoed on the door.

Her heart constricted at the knocks on the dorm door, but as she peered through the peephole and realized it wasn’t Kaiden, she felt an unexpected sense of emptiness.

She opened the door and politely said, “Sir.”

“Miss Gordon, there was indeed a man looking for you. He’s quite handsome and dressed like a big shot. I’m not sure if it’s the man you mentioned, but I didn’t allow him toe up. I came here specifically to inform you.”

“It was him, thank you, sir!” Ellie had spotted Bruce beside the Maybach from her vantage point on the balcony.

“No problem. If he shows up again, I’ll continue to prevent his entry for you.”
