    When they got back to the dorm, Ellie soon overheard Baylee as she talked to someone on the phone.

    “What happened?” Ellie asked curiously after Baylee had ended the call.


    “It’s Quincy,” Baylee told her. “Harry said he has been showing up at the Rich Bar every night for two weeks now, even asking the bartender about when I usuallye to the bar.”


    Since she didn’t want to sound vain, Baylee didn’t say it, but she felt in her heart that Quincy’s nightly appearances at the Rich Bar were likely an attempt to run into her one of these days.


    After their rtionship ended, Quincy had left the country for family business on behalf of the Rollins. A yearter, he returned and frequently showed up around her.


    All the while, Baylee deliberately avoided him, while Aphrodite retired from figure skating the same year and got back with Quincy. Since then, Baylee hardly saw Quincy.
