    He was longing for her toe home.


    As the shoulder strap of her pajamas slid down to her wrist, Ellie finally realized that Kaiden desired more than just a kiss.


    “Kaiden, you… you should stop! No…”


    Ellie’s words came out in gasps between moments of pleasure, her protests gradually sumbing to the man’s undeniable allure.


    “Just rx! I know what I’m doing!” Kaiden assured her, his intentions clear as they embarked on a passionate night together.


    “I meant, not here!” Ellie was visibly rattled.


    “Why not?” Kaiden countered lightly, pinning her wrists above her head with one hand while his other hand continued what it was doing.


    “Baylee will be here soon…”


    “No, she won’t,” he said with absolute certainty.


    After all, Marvin wouldn’t be letting Baylee go any time soon.


    “But I—”


    “You what?” Kaiden’s warm breath brushed against Ellie’s cheek, sending a shiver down her spine.


    Having her in his arms again dispelled the dark clouds that had been hanging over his head for thest two days. However, Ellie thought they had yet to resolve their issues. Still, she had been yearning for Kaiden while they were apart, and she couldn’t bring herself to ruin this moment between them.


    “I saw you earlier,” Ellie said, changing what she had initially wanted to say. Her tone carried a hint of grievance. He hade over, seen her, and then just turned around and left.


    “I saw you too,” Kaiden said with a sneer before leaning over to nip at her earlobe. “I saw you… holding a bouquet of flowers from another man. Laughing and talking to him… right in front of me!”


    Ellie moved her head to the side and blinked innocently at him. “Those flowers were from the student union.”

    Since Kaiden had taken the initiative to bring Howard up in their conversation, she decided she might as well mention Carole as well. Howard was right—Ellie needed to have a proper talk with Kaiden.


    “Want to go to bed?” Kaiden asked in between kisses, a rarity for him. He didn’t usually ask for her opinion and would simply do whatever he wanted. He had always been domineering in bed.


    Ellie nodded.


    But Kaiden had barely taken a couple of steps when she suddenly shook her head. “No, not the bed!” Baylee still had to sleep in that bedter.


    “Then, the sofa?” Kaiden didn’t care either way. His only criticism was that the sofa wasn’t made of genuine leather.


    “No!” Ellie replied vehemently.


    What if they left a mark on the sofa? What would the school staff think when they eventually had to clean it?


    Kaiden looked around, frowning when he couldn’t find any other suitable spot. The room was incredibly small, and it irked him immensely.
