?Chapter 474:
The way she saw it, God was helping her achieve her goals.
But now that Kaiden was here, she realized that it wasn’t nearly enough for her.

“Ah! It’s been months since west saw each other. Ellie is even more beautiful than I remember!” Susanna beamed.
Daniel gave no reaction to her incessant prattling. When she was finally done, he said, “Well, you’ve seen her. Can you go back to Glostin now?”
Susanna batted her eyes at him, her eyshes fluttering like butterfly wings. She started to act cute and coquettish, smiling at him. Daniel didn’t even think twice about palming her face and pushing her away.
Whenever she gave him that look, she had either caused a mess or was about to ask him for a ridiculous favor.
Undeterred, Susanna cried out, “Daniel! I want to study at Critport University!”
Just as he had expected, she was making yet another absurd request.
“Susanna, for goodness’ sake! You just graduated from university. Critport University is a prestigious institution that’s quite challenging to gain admission to as a postgraduate student, you know?” The answer to that was, of course, no.
Susanna pounced on Daniel and nuzzled against his chest, acting like a spoiled child.
Daniel was over 6 feet tall, while Susanna was only around 5’2. She locked her arms around his waist and held on for dear life.
Daniel froze, his eyes widening ever so slightly. He nced down at the woman embracing him, feeling his heart pick up its pace. She always resorted to these kinds of methods, with no regard for how it would make the other party feel.
“Susanna, you need to know right now that Ellie and Kaiden’s rtionship is going well. I’m sure you’re already aware of the previous setup between Kaiden and Carole.” Daniel didn’t want her to get involved in other people’s rtionships, whether by intent or by ident.
“None of that is any of my business. I only want to support Ellie in any way I can!” Susanna might have known Carole since childhood, but she never got along with the other woman.

Besides, Ellie didn’t really have to stay with that cold Kaiden. Someone had sent her flowers during ss earlier. That meant that she was popr. She had options!
At the end of the day, wouldn’t it be better for her to be in a rtionship with a younger man?
“Come on, Daniel! Help me, please? I want to stay here! If you don’t help me, I’ll have no choice but to contact your older brother and sister!” This was her trump card.
Susanna was the only child of a dear but departed family friend. The Lambert family had doted on her, and she knew how to use their affection to her advantage.
Daniel thought of his eldest brother and already felt an iing headache. He could already picture the man telling Susanna, “I’ll help you if you and Daniel give me a nephew…”
“A niece.” His sister was no better, either, with her usual mantra of, “If the man is no good, rece him with a better one.”
With a resigned sigh, he said, “Fine. I’ll make the necessary arrangements.”
“Thank you!” Susanna beamed.
Howard invited Ellie to have lunch with him, but she politely declined. Baylee was waiting for her at their dormitory room. Ellie said goodbye to Howard and was about to turn away when a young girl ran up to her and yelled happily, “Ellie!”
