    She had been blessed with a photographic memory since she was young and could memorize music scores after ncing through them. He covered his face and groaned in despair, “I should have continued searching for a professional pianist!”

As she hurried to the grand piano in the corner of the runway, a distant part of her mind reminded her that she hadn’t changed into an appropriate dress.


    As her fingers danced over the keys, the piano’s melodious tunes sliced through the silence.

    Jonah’s expression changed from apprehension to shock and then to delight. She could actually… y the piano so well!


    After the show’s finale, Ellie silently returned backstage, only to be greeted by Jonah’s hug.


    “Ellie, you were amazing! You’re truly a treasure!”


    Jonah was about to nt a kiss on her cheek, but a hand suddenly blocked his lips.


    A man with blond hair and blue eyes stepped between Ellie and Jonah, pulling her out of Jonah’s arms. He sneered at Jonah and warned, “Dude, stay away from my muse!”


    “Freddy, what are you doing here? How did you get in?” Ellie eximed in surprise.


    “I’m friends with Jonah; I can get into any show he’s in charge of.” Freddy shot Jonah a warning look and advised, “Jonah, Ellie has a very jealous husband. If you want a peaceful life, I suggest you stop hugging her.”


    Dealing with Kaiden’s possessiveness over Ellie was certainly not an easy task.

    Did he believe the show would inevitably fail due to his and Carole’s scheme? Just because he refused to y the piano, he thought that no one else would be able to?


    Jay, like a thwarted clown, made a hasty retreat.


    Jonah excused himself and left to deal with the press and media. Ellie discreetly pulled Freddy away from the group, giving him a brief rundown of Carole and Jay’s vition of their contract.


    In a hushed tone, she gave him clear instructions. “Expose their vition of the contract to the media.”


    Just paying a breach of contract fee was letting them off too easily!


    “No problem!” Freddy immediately agreed. His curiosity got the better of him and he asked, “Boss, do they have a grudge against you? Did you steal their business?”
