    Embarrassed and guilty, Ellie walked back to him awkwardly.


    She asked cautiously, “Are you… heading back?”


    Kaiden stared at Ellie coldly for a few seconds before looking away. He called the manager of Heart Ind over and told them to make sure Carole was well taken care of for the night.


    “Kaiden, are you also nning to leave?” Carole realized Kaiden was about to leave, and she couldn’t even manage a forced smile.


    “Right,” Kaiden replied. His intention was to just show up for a short while.
