    “She wants to work for Harvillston?” Kaiden’s frown deepened. He hadn’t heard anything about Carole wanting to work for Harvillston. There was no sign of rejection in Kaiden’s expression, as perceived by Ellie. It seemed he probably would agree if Carole brought it up.


    Ellie’s assumption wasn’t exactly groundless; after all, Harvillston really was the best choice in the country, so it would be no surprise if Carole wanted to work there.
