?Chapter 356:
“I’ve told you, I don’t mind,” he smiled.
After changing, Ellie noticed several changes in the living room. The decorative wine was now a Lafite, and the coffee set was an antique from four centuries ago. Even the empty coffee jar had been reced with premium coffee.
Ellie was confused by the new additions when Kaiden approached her, just finishing his call.
She asked, “These things…?”
“Do you like them?” Kaiden inquired.
He had chosen the coffee set to match her taste. It wasn’t just about liking them.
Ellie pointed to the porcin. “Is that antique… real?”
Kaiden’s expression darkened, his displeasure evident. His look silently conveyed that he would never use anything fake.
Ellie froze. She quickly exined, “It’s just that I can’t use it for coffee.”
“Why not?” Kaiden replied. “I have plenty, even if you break it.”
She couldn’t find the words. Ellie felt out of ce surrounded by such wealth. Kaiden pointed to arge painting. “I have the original. I’ll get Bruce to bring it.”
It was a medieval replica, valuable but not as much as the original. However, it was painted by a famous artist 100 years ago. Ellie had acquired it at an auctionst year.
Kaiden emphasized “original,” still upset by the fakement.
Ellie quickly declined. “No, thanks. I don’t really like this painting.”
Hanging a painting worth hundreds of millions here didn’t feel appropriate. She was secretly concerned about the risk of theft with such expensive art.
“What kind of paintings do you prefer?” Kaiden asked thoughtfully, then offered, “I have more paintings in my warehouse.” He was indicating that he was willing to give anything to Ellie.
Warehouse…

Why did he link that word to the collection?
It was difficult for Ellie to convince Kaiden not to move more valuables into her apartment, which felt far less secure than Moon Manor’s warehouse.
They eventually decided to return to Moon Manor.
Upon entering the house, a strange tension filled the air. Cayson subtly hinted to Kaiden that Omiros had been waiting all night. Ellie noticed Omiros’s displeased look in the living room, surrounded by his favorite snacks, seemingly hoping to share them with her.
She found herself at a loss for words. Why did she feel guilty, like leaving a child home alone during the holidays?
“Omiros, what’s on your mind?” Ellie said, fighting back her guilt.
“I wanted you both to ring in the new year with me.” Omiros hadn’t slept a wink, dark circles under his eyes. He looked at Kaiden and Ellie with a touch of resentment. “Instead, you disappeared all night!”
Kaiden shot him a cold nce. “I’m not your guardian. My concern is making sure you’re still breathing.”
Omiros turned away, uninterested in further conversation with Kaiden. Ellie, sitting across from him, asked gently, “Why didn’t you go out with your friends for New Year’s?”
