?Chapter 352:
He paused, took a deep breath, and then leaned over to kiss his own knuckles, the closest he coulde to actually kissing her.
With her sight gone, Ellie’s other senses became sharper. She didn’t know what Kaiden had done, but she felt him draw closer, and her heart skipped a beat.
Ellie quickly pulled his hand away from her face and stepped back. “Are they going to trace this back to you or not?” she asked again.
Kaiden’s gaze fell on the glittering pink diamond on her wedding finger. “It’s possible,” he shrugged, not having really thought about it. “Don’t you like it? Are you unhappy with my little present?” he asked when he noticed theck of excitement on her face.
Ellie shook her head. “No, I like it.”
How could she not appreciate it when he had actively taken revenge for her? But she worried that it might cause him trouble.
More chaos erupted on the first floor, but Kaiden had had enough of the ce. He ushered Ellie toward the stairs, and they exited the bar.
They were greeted by the cool night breeze, as if it were brushing off the remnants of the discord that was still ongoing inside.
“Where to next?” Ellie asked Kaiden as their fingers intertwined. She tightened her grip without even realizing it.
Kaiden remained silent.
He hadn’t really thought about this part either.
Ellie nudged him and smiled. “I did suggest that we celebrate New Year’s together. Shall we?”
It was an hour before midnight, and the road to the city center was heavily congested.
The drive took a while, but they finally reached their destination.
It was a high-end residential building that housed only one massive unit per floor, offering breathtaking views of various parts of the city. The apartments were all sold out before they were even released to the market.
Ellie walked to the entrance, only to realize that Kaiden had stayed by the car.

“What are you waiting for? Come on!” She waved him over.
But he simply cocked his head to the side, his eyebrows slightly raised. For some reason, Ellie knew exactly what he had in mind. She strode back with a yful harrumph and took his hand.
Sure enough, Kaiden fell into step with her.
Ellie couldn’t help but shake her head and chuckle.
Momentster, they were stepping out of the elevator, and she pulled him over to the apartment door before opening it.
The t was over 400 square meters, decorated in a minimalist style. It was fully furnished, and all the facilities were in perfect working condition. The 270-degree balcony offered an excellent view of the bustling night scene below.
The ce was free from clutter, with the entire floor covered in soft, white carpets—something that suited Ellie’s habit of walking around barefoot.
She did just that, her delicate toes sinking into the plush carpet, which immediately caught Kaiden’s attention.
“Wee to my house!” Ellie said with a yful lift of her chin. “If Mr. Thorpe doesn’t mind, you’re wee to stay at my ce for the night.”
