?Chapter 351:
“Demi, what’s going on?” A guest sidled up to Demi and whispered, “Are those usations true?”
Demi’s face went pale. She didn’t know either. She had no idea what was happening!
Her first instinct was to deny everything, of course, but Erick’s actions now deprived her of that option. Refuting the allegations would only make things worse.
Erick was in a frenzy until his eyes locked onto the manager of the establishment. “You! Get your ass over here! What the hell is this? Do you think you can afford to pay me damages if I take you to court for defamation? You bastard…”
His rant was cut short as several bodyguards surrounded him and restrained his hands behind his back, treating him like amon criminal.
“Brawls arepletely forbidden in our establishment,” the manager said. “I’m afraid I need to ask you to leave, sir. You will also be permanently banned from all facilities at Heart Ind Resort.”
The guests who overheard this exchange were taken aback. The scene was all too familiar.
“Is it a new trend for bars to cklist troublesome clients? First it was the Rich Bar, and now Heart Ind Bar.”
“Oh, Erick is definitely in trouble now. Those two are the biggest bars in town, and now he’s banned from both!”
“If you ask me, I think Erick probably offended a big shot. I wonder who’s behind it.”
At that moment, the person in question was on the second floor, observing as Erick went from being the star of the show to a frenzied, wild-eyed lunatic being kicked out.
“Did you do this?” Ellie asked Kaiden, though she already knew the answer.
“What do you think of my gift?” Kaiden responded, casting a sideways nce at her.
Erick had the audacity to mock Ellie by unting his university degree and so-called academic honors. That idiot didn’t even deserve any of those des.
Erick was a fool whose ambitions were far beyond the effort he was willing to exert. He had no right to bully those who actually worked hard, and he deserved to be trampled on, like the scum he was.
“You…” Ellie had to swallow before continuing, her throat oddly dry. “When did you manage to collect all this information?”

Erick’s sudden disy of victory seemed rushed. Kaiden couldn’t have had enough time to gather everything.
Now that she thought about it, Kaiden had probably brought her here because of what she said back in the office. He must have sensed her distress and wanted her to vent out her frustrations.
“I’ve been sitting on it for some time now,” Kaiden replied casually. He didn’t tell her, but he had quite a lot of dirt, not just on Erick, but on the entire Thorpe family.
“Does this affect you or your business?” Ellie asked, concerned.
“What do you mean?” Kaiden replied.
“The Thorpe family spent a lot of effort and money to make Erick into this decorated academic. I can’t imagine they’d be happy with you now that you’ve ruined his reputation. What are the chances they’d trace this incident back to you?”
Kaiden ignored her questions, covering Ellie’s eyes with his hand. The look in her eyes was gnawing at his self-control.
